Went today for the first time to get take out and had an excellent experience for the few minutes we were there. We were greeted by a lovely staff who engaged with us and made us feel so welcomed. The hospitality is 10/10. The kindness of the owner (I think) was unlike anything I’ve experienced before at a restaurant. The birria and the tortillas were absolutely delicious. Everyone enjoyed the food back home and we will definitely be back.

Location is great. Near Midway Airport. Great for eating authentic Mexican can food after a flight. Right away they serve you a freshly made quesadilla on a homemade tortilla as an appetizer. The food quality was great. Birria was nice and juicy. A little faster service would have been nice but other than that definitely will be going back when I am around the area.

This was my Mom and I first time visiting this birria spot and wow—let me tell you, the service was amazing. I even got to meet the owner, and after chatting for a bit, I can honestly say he’s incredibly friendly and welcoming. He even gifted us a free laundry bag with the restaurant’s logo, which was a really nice touch.
The food was delicious, and the handmade tortillas were perfect. The birria was flavorful and fresh with no strong smell at all. And the habanero salsa? Easily my favorite.

Best birrieria in Chi. So good. Home made tortillas aren’t bad either. Waitresses don’t speak English, but fortunately the owner, Juan, does and he’s so nice. He came out of the back from cooking many times checking on his regulars and new customers.

When you walk in this place , it reminds you of the authenticity of Mexican cuisine. Family owned, relaxed, and welcoming!! The owner comes and starts a conversation with you like he’s known you for years. Our server (an older gentleman) was so sweet and attentive to our little one! We even got free pan dulce on the way out. The birria is the best one I’ve had, we usually go to Zaragoza. This place checks all the boxes and will be our new spot. Flavor is there and most importantly the customer service.

Met a coworker here for lunch. the birria was brought to the table sizzling hot and very aromatic. The flavors were absolutely delicious! the handmade tortillas worked very well with the dish. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I’m definitely coming back here!
