The avocado double chicken salad was amazing. The chicken tostada salad was amazing, this place is hopping around lunch time. Everything is computerized cash computer order to the left get it or credit computerized order to the right. Service fast and efficient

Fresh and well prepared food! More healthy options available than most fast food restaurants without giving up on flavor. Their salads are large and full of ingredients. No shortage of sauces and pico to go with the meal without being charged extra. Delicious and consistent.

Food is always good but the quality of service tonight was incredibly sloppy and disrespectful. Got my food and after repeating what I wanted several times, items had to be asked about and the lady at the drive thru, didn’t properly put the lid on my drink and it spilled on my arm and inside my car. This post is an update to a prior post which was less than par. I have been contacted by the management team of EL Pollo Loco,
The manager , Jacklyn was apologetic for my dining experience and wanted to assure me that my concerns were addressed.
She also informed me that worn damaged upholstered seats, I observed would be
repaired . I am updating the rating to a 5 for service based upon the manager’s efforts to make things right. Based upon Jacquelin’s( Stockdale manager) conscientious efforts to make things right, I am giving a 5 star rating for conscientious service .
I will be returning to do a review of the El Pollo Loco to do a review of their Mexican grilled chicken, which they are famous for.
Thank you Jacquelin( manager) for hearing my concern.
I look forward to having a positive dining experience at El Pollo Loco.

Ordered through the kiosk and the rice was mushy must have been old. I didnt receive any of my condiments and girl upfront was very rushed and in a bad mood. Wouldn’t recommend this location.

I am a huge Pollo Loco fan. This location is by far the best here in Bakersfield. They are not shy with their sauces and always hand you your food in a timely manner. My wife and I are on a low-carb diet, so we always get salads as sides. The lettuce and avocado on the salads are always fresh.

I haven’t been in this particular location for over two months, I understand why I stayed away from this location: the customer service. In my case this person ANABELEN was very rude when I asked her for help in the kiosk or when I asked her for more sauces. Sorry that I am not the kind of customer she likes to help, but I did a big order 4 16ps family meals so I needed some extra items (plates, utensils, sauces, etc) I wasn’t informed if this is something that I have to pay for maybe that’s why she had such as bad attitude. I did not even notice her attitude until my sister told me the way she was awnsering me with a; “Yea” instead of how may I help you? Which she used when another customer who did not even asked for help approach the kiosk. After that I really felt ignored or profiled by her.

Hit and miss with this location. The two piece chicken whatever you call it deal I got tastes like it was saved from the previous day. Chicken super dry. Mashed potatoes too hot to eat. The corn, well it’s corn. I could have opened a can and gotten the same taste. Saddens me because Ive always loved eating here.
