We were visitinf Bothell WA and I was looking for recommendations for a good veg biryani from Google Maps.. going through the rating and some reviews, I decided to visit this place.. parking is a bit small and from outside the restaurant is not appealing.. there were some seats inside for dine in . Location wise it is good.
being in NJ where the Indian food is really good, I hoped a similar experience here.. and they didn’t disappoint .. the food here was good and the portions were good too .. I was looking for some veg, biryani options and saw gutti venkaya biryani.. I’ve never had that before and tried it first time . Woooow .. it was good . Make sure you mix the biryani well before eating… from top, you will just see white rice but all the Masala is at the bottom.. loved it.. mixed kadai was ok. Could have been slightly spicier . Naan and kadai went well.
Overall a good experience. 4 stars . ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We used to really enjoy the biryanis here and even recommended Biryani District to many of our friends because the food used to be so flavorful and satisfying. Unfortunately, over the last few visits the quality seems to have declined. The biryani doesn’t have the same rich flavor it used to and it tastes quite bland now, and there are noticeably fewer chicken/paneer pieces than before. It’s disappointing because this used to be one of our favorite spots.

Got two family platters – the Gongura chicken and Bezawada – both were incredible. The spice level definitely has a kick to it, but the mango lassi was perfect for cooling things down. This place brings authentic Hyderabadi flavors with traditional spices. Love that they focus on quality curries and authentic Hyderabadi biryani under one roof. The portions are generous, and the flavors are bold and unforgettable. Definitely worth a visit if you want real authentic Indian cuisine in Bothell!

I recently tried the Goat Dum Biryani at this restaurant and I must say, the dish itself was absolutely delightful! The flavors were rich and authentic, and I enjoyed every bite.
However, my dining experience was a bit mixed. The ambience of the place left much to be desired as it was quite small and not very inviting. I felt the restaurant could have been cleaner to enhance the overall atmosphere.
On a positive note, the customer service was outstanding. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure I had a pleasant dining experience.

I visit this place often with friends, and it never disappoints. Their Apollo Fish is one of our go to dishes, flavorful and perfectly cooked. The serving sizes are huge as well. Overall, the food quality and consistency keep bringing us back. If you’re anywhere near Bothell, this is a must visit spot.

Lesson learnt .. never order food at this place on a weekday . It’s usually left over food tossed and served .. we ordered fried rice at 6:30 pm and got fried rice made with left over rice from afternoon or the day before .. stale and dry. I have had similar experience with biriyani in the past and decided to try fried rice but the experience is the same .
On calling customer service the response I got was .. can you bring in the food and we will taste and then decide what to do with it . Awesome service and trust. No wonder this place looks so run down.. yet another Indian restaurant closing down .. hope they find their way back

Karvepaku Gobi was Super crispy and full of flavor.
Meghana Paneer Biryani was also excellent. The quantity was very generous, and the paneer was well-cooked with lots of rich gravy, which made it very satisfying overall.

My experience at this restaurant was truly disturbing. Upon being seated, I immediately noticed a large bug crawling on the plate — a clear sign of gross neglect and an utter disregard for basic hygiene. The place wasn’t super clean to begin with, but seeing actual insects on the table in the plate was beyond shocking.
I left immediately without eating. No one should have to question their health and safety just by sitting down for a meal. This place needs a thorough inspection before it can responsibly serve anyone again. I strongly urge others to stay away until they address these serious sanitation issues.
