Truth Travel Guide
My family and I went to harborside for dinner today and our experience was not great, just okay. First the greeter/server Marie told us the wait would be 30 to 45 mins. We agreed and she wrote down my name and phone number. We waited outside for the time to pass and we didn’t receive a call or name call so we went inside to ask her about our wait and she she gave us a weird smirk and said oh I called your phone twice, which was a lie because I never received a phone call. He looked at her list and our name had been erased from the waitlist. I was highly upset because this is very poor customer service and they childish smirk upon her face was sinister and intentional done almost like she didn’t want to service us. I immediately asked for the manager and let her know the situation and she was able to get us seated in the outside patio with a waterview which we was appreciative for that. Our server on the patio was way nicer than the girl Marie. She need to trained better on her customer service. The manger Shaunie was nice as well she checked on us which made the experience better as well. Besides that the food wasn’t too bad but we were expecting it to be better for the price as well as the highly raves and reviews by many people. We most likely won’t return here and try other recommended restaurants in the area.

We stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant today.
The atmosphere was great. We were welcomed and immediately offered a booth overlooking the water.
Shortly after being seated Ainsley our server came by and took our drinks order and introduced us to her trainee Skye. They did
an excellent job taking care of us.
We loved the clam chowder. I’m from New England and worried about the added flavor but the fresh dill added a lovely flavor to it.
There was home made crusty bread and butter served next. It would have gone well with the soup but we did get oyster crackers.
We shared the coconut shrimp with fresh mango pico and remoulade. The shrimp were jumbo and perfectly cooked.
We each ordered the beer battered fish and chips with key lime tartar sauce. The fish was perfectly cooked. The fries are coated and would have been better left as is but they were crisp and cooked. The tartar has a nice tang from the lime.
We took home loads of leftovers and a slice of pineapple upside down cake in a pinacolada sauce with a cherry to have for
dessert.
We will definitely be back and would 100 percent recommend.

We loved The Harborside so much that we ate here three times in one week — and honestly, we’d do it again just for the fish sandwich. Holy moly.
Perfectly cooked, fresh, flaky fish with a light, crispy coating, piled high and bursting with flavor. Every bite was better than the last. This sandwich alone is worth the visit, but the consistently great food, relaxed waterfront vibe, and friendly service keep bringing us back.
If you’re anywhere nearby and don’t stop at Harborside, you’re seriously missing out. We’ll definitely be back… probably sooner rather than later.

We had a delicious lunch after our 2 hour boat cruise overlooking the lake. Me and my significant other got the ribeye meatball sub and it was one of the best we have ever tried. My daughter got the kids Alfredo pasta which was a big hit!! Highly recommended

The food is amazing. The triggerfish special is outstanding as well as the truffle filet mignon. The pineapple rum cake was delicious snd moist. We went there for New Year’s Eve when we started dating, and now again for my boyfriend’s birthday. We even got to see a fisherman catch a bass. If you haven’t been, you need to go!

Awesome dining experience. Harborside was recommended by one of their servers. “”Anthony !!”” His descriptions of the food offerings and invitation was the reason for our visit. Service was perfect, food was excellent and served with incredible timing (Anthony & Tausha). We will definitely return and bring guests for a great experience.

Service was awesome. Atmosphere good. Beautiful lake. Food was good except the steak. I requested very well don’t no pink. The steak was very uncooked. I couldn’t eat it.

For the concept and seafood, I was here for lunch so not sure how representative it is of the rest of the offerings but I was happy with what I got. Ordered the Baja tacos and the alligator bites (since I’m in Florida)… the bites were well seasoned and the creole dipping sauce was good. I should have waited for lemons tho. Not sure if anyone out there can make gator less tough… may just be the nature of gator. The tacos were pretty good. Service was good but the atmosphere was lacking some boat life vibe IMO..

I had to try their Painkiller since it was made with Siesta Key Rum. It was okay. Their lunch specials are reasonably priced and large plates. Our appetizers were delicious. I had Shrimp Alfredo, but I was disappointed in the size of my meal. It wasn’t a lunch special. Overall, our experience was fair. The staff was friendly but not very attentive.

Definitely a bit costly for the portions and quality.
We started with drinks and fried gator tail. The Gatorade tail was chewy. The drinks were decent. I mean my husband only had a beer. I had the strawberry margarita. Waited 10minutes for our drinks.
We both had the grouper sandwich for our entrée. It was decently small especially for the price. The highlight was the fries and tartor sauce. Separately or together I did dip my fry in the tartor sauce and it was pretty good that way too. Service was ok. Some how the people behind us, that sat down 10minutes into our visit, got their drinks within a few m I mentioned of sitting down. Got their food before we did as well. They also got their bill before us. The waitress seemed to cater to them more than us and the manager came to their table as well. I still tipped my minimum 15% because im a nice person. We wont be returning.
The view was pretty though.
