Reviews
Our favorites were the short rib, along with the à la carte shrimp and spicy pork. However, the appetizer chicken karaage was disappointing—it tasted more like KFC or frozen chicken.
While the food was enjoyable, the portions are too small for the price point. Unless you’re serving wagyu, it doesn’t justify such tiny servings. A decent experience, but the value for money could be better.
The servers were pleasant and accommodating. The pricing aligned with this type of restaurant.
Food:
I had the $15 lunch special with 2 meats, miso soup, rice and salad, and added the garlic mushroom for $2-3 extra. The Toro Beef (thinly sliced beef) was great and the spicy sauce was amazing. I wouldn’t order Angus Beef rib (thicker cut) again because no matter how long I cooked it, it was hard to chew.
The salad was very fresh and the mushrooms were great. The extra garlic sauce from the mushrooms was perfect for eating with rice.
Service:
Solid, friendly service that checked up on me frequently. The 2 servers were very smiley and patient in answering my questions.
Atmosphere:
It was chill during lunchtime and I like that it didn’t get very smoky like some bbq places do. The restaurant and bathroom are both clean.
It was a great value and I’ll definitely be back for their lunch special, and meal sets for groups!
Going at lunch on a Monday, was very empty.
Lunchtime is worth it!
Meal came with great sides, delicious garlic noodles.
Ordered few extras and fortunately they forgot to add. We were very full by the end.
