My family and I passed through the small town of Girard, KS and we were all so very pleased with the food, drinks, service, and cleanliness of this authentic Mexican restaurant Don Vrgas. The owner and the staff were amazing and energetic as well as punctual and perfect with time management. I strongly recommend this place and give them a 10/10.

I am so excited that the Carnitas platter is back! It is delicious! We also love the tacos and the fajitas. If you don’t want something on top or you like a little of this or that, ask for it on the side. They are more than happy to make it the way you like it, within reason, thank you to Marsala (not sure how to spell her name, sorry) for asking about my drink request. It was what I needed. We always tell our family about stopping by for some good food and excellent service!

Try ordering a burger, rings & a drink at any fast food joint…u’ll pay as much or more – and Don Vrgas serves fresh , much healthier food.

Winner winner. Taco Tuesday. Tablespoon of unseasoned cheap ground beef covered in nasty lettuce and a pinch of white cheese in an extremely stale shell. Hands down the worst taco I have ever been served. Been here before and food was good. Won’t get another chance to prove you even care to try. When I say nasty lettuce I mean like you could smell it was bad from the plate. Surprised we didn’t get sick. Unseasoned ground beef yeah not even salt and pepper. Don’t Go!
