Trieste Pizza is a must-try in Rome. If you’re arriving by train, the location is spot on, just a short walk from the station, making it the perfect first stop for your first meal in the city.

The service is outstanding. The team brings such positive energy, and you feel genuinely welcomed from the moment you walk in.

And the food? Pure heaven. Everything is fresh, crispy, and full of flavour, from the supplì to the pizza selection. My personal favourite was the mortadella, but honestly, everything I tried was fantastic. The pizza base is light and airy, yet still delivers that rich, satisfying taste you want from proper Roman pizza.

Already counting down until I’m back.

Great find for pizza!

Came across this pizzeria as we walked along the street, and the casual atmosphere with music caught our attention.

The pizzaiolo Gianni that fronts the counter was friendly and gave us the menu to peruse. He also came by to ask if everything was alright during our meal.

We ordered:
1) Mortadella Pistachio E Burrata Pizza – Burrata, mortadella and pistachio bits.

2) Carbonara Pizzq – Carbonara toppings – Mozarella, guanciale, pecorino cheese and black pepper. So much to love for this one.

3) Fegato and Cipolla Pizza – This was the best! It had steamed white onion, pork liver sausage, fried sweet pepper, Mozarella, chili pepper and rosemary.

The pizza comes in small sized €2-5 (for 1) or large sized €8-25.50.

We ordered 3 small sized ones so that we can try more flavors. We were all happy with our meal.

Highly recommended!

Hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had! This place was INCREDIBLE from top to bottom. The staff is super friendly, super welcoming, funny, and you can tell that they love being there.

The pizza itself was made to perfection every single time. The flavors were rich, the combinations were perfect, and each pie ypu order has the same exact crust, crisp and finish. Every bite I took had me closing my eyes and nodding my head in approval.

I NEED to talk about the staff. They really make you feel like family. They’ll talk to you and ask you where you’re from. The answer you give them is the name they call out when your pizza is ready.
Remember that in Rome, pizza is meant to be thin and crispy vs pizza from a place like Naples which is thick.

Pizza was so good here that I even came back the next day. Do yourself a favor and check them out. Prices are cheap, the area where they’re located isn’t too far from the Colosseum, and the streets in the surrounding area are wonderful to walk around. Don’t miss out!

Their pizza dough is so crispy and delicious. We came back 4 nights in a row. Do not skip the burrata e crudo, it’s sooooo good. Prices are super cheap too. I would come back to Rome just for this pizza .

After trying a couple disappointing pizzas, eating here felt like ascending to heaven – this pizza achieved the tastes and textures and perfection I imagined when planning my trip to rome – standout pizzas were the Margarita and Burrata. Just an fyi all their pizzas can be made gluten free in a personal size and a subsection can be made in mini size but go earlier in the day because when we arrived around lunch time they had run out of gluten free pizza dough. Very affordable pricing. Toilet is clean but like many of the restrooms in Rome doesn’t have a seat so u have to squat.

I love this place. Always when I visit Rome I make time to come to this restaurant. I love all the pizzas that they offer but my favorite is the Burrata. The quality is really high and the atmosphere is awesome. Every person who works at the store is kind and they make you feel comfortable.

Gorgeous pizzas! We ordered small pizzas as we just wanted a light lunch and both pizzas, pictured below, were cooked to perfection. Staff were friendly and also very funny! They had great posters with rules on the likes of ketchup, and pineapple on pizza! Could definitely recommend eating here.

Worth the long wait if you have the time. The pizza was delicious. I would recommend getting several small pies to try as many different flavor combinations as possible. Two small pizzas per person seems to be the right ratio. The order/pickup situation is a bit chaotic for takeout so I would recommend trying to get a table if you can.
