El Fogón Venezolano – Hillsboro
Today I stopped by El Fogón Venezolano because we had a serious family craving for real Venezuelan comfort food—the kind that’s hearty, flavorful, and made with love. I called Yaerlis, the owner, and asked her to prepare a family parrilla with everything… and she truly delivered.
Everything was cooked fresh and made to order using high-quality ingredients. The parrilla included chicken, premium beef, tenderloin, crispy pork belly, excellent chorizo, delicious seasoned arepas, yuca, and a fresh salad with avocado. It also came with a very well-made tartar sauce and a flavorful chimichurri. Beautifully presented and very generous portions—we ordered for four people, but it easily fed six.
I brought it home and the whole family was happy. Amazing flavor, great quality, and excellent service. On top of that, spending a few minutes chatting with the owners—a truly special couple—always makes the experience even better.

Hoy pasé por El Fogón Venezolano por un antojo familiar de comida venezolana de verdad, de la que llena y reconforta. Llamé a Yaerlis, la dueña, y me preparó una parrilla familiar espectacular, hecha al momento y con ingredientes frescos.
La parrilla traía pollo, carne de primera, lomito, chicharrón, chorizo de excelente calidad, arepas deliciosas, yuca, ensalada con aguacate, una salsa tártara muy bien hecha y un chimichurri riquísimo. Todo muy bien presentado y con porciones generosas: pedimos para cuatro y comieron seis sin problema.
La comida llegó a casa y la familia quedó feliz. Muchísima calidad, sabor auténtico y excelente servicio. Además, siempre es un gusto conversar con los dueños, un matrimonio especial que te hace sentir como en casa.
Cuando tengan antojo de comida venezolana buena y contundente, no dejen de pasar por El Fogón Venezolano.
