Gugelhof Restaurant is clean, welcoming, and family-owned, with flavors that will stay in your taste-bud memory forever. Our waiter, Erik, was absolutely amazing — funny, personable, and such a pleasure to talk with. He alone earns 5 stars.
And the magic behind every plate? Chef Mati. A true master who knows how to bring multiple flavors together into one unforgettable bite.
If you’re hungry, you will not regret coming here. Just show up hungry — they’ll handle the rest (except putting it in your mouth… just kidding ).

We had the „Spanferkelhaxe“, the „Wiener Schnitzel“ and the „Australien Rumpsteak“. All was very good, the steak was exceptionally tender. Would recommend this place if you are willing to spend abit more. Steak was 36, the other dishes 25. It was worth the money.

Very friendly, fluent in English, attentive, cheerful, made us feel very welcome even though we came in quite late for dinner and sat around and chatted for ages. Food is delicious. We especially liked the open apple crepe/Flammkuchen. Will come back again.
