We came to Marge’s Bar all the way from New York, and it did not disappoint. The drinks were priced perfectly, super tasty, and the service was top-notch. The crowd had great energy—friendly and lively, just the kind of vibe you’d want for a night out. Zack was our bartender that night and he took great care of us—he was awesome. Definitely a spot worth checking out. It’s also around a lot of other things to do.

Cheap creative drinks (like $9 for a specialty cocktail) and fantastic atmosphere! This is a little bit of a speakeasy in the alley directly behind the diner. Super small space in the basement but cute! Drinks were great, service was great, Would definitely be back.

Took us many (many) times of circling the block to find this place we’d been recommended as there isn’t signage anywhere outside that we saw (It’s in the basement with a alleyway entrance) but it was totally worth it. Great cocktails with a cozy, welcoming vibe. Never been to the city or this bar and had a family of strangers just strike up a conversation with us and give us recommendations for stuff to do in Fargo. For a Friday night it wasn’t terribly crowded and the wait to order was short.

Awesome hole in the wall. Feels like a college house basement, but the bartenders are great every time in there. The Elvis White Russian is awesome and the dealers choice always hits the mark.

Awesome low-key and intimate basement bar in Robert’s Alley. I had a great time popping in here on a Monday night during my last night visiting Fargo. Josh the bartender was cool to talk with about whatever, the vibe was on point. Welcoming, comfortable, and friendly. Their signature cocktails were also very good, Josh puts a lot of care and expertise into mixing cocktails, he definitely does his thing. For sure I’m gonna come back here when I visit Fargo next time. I wish they’d serve Hamm’s though.

We stumbled on this gem leaving the Boiler Room – how fun!! Quaint and quirky; just the place to hang for specialty cocktails and relax in your crazy aunt’s basement for some fun and amusement. Great drinks, good prices and fun games.

Great little bar, I always make sure to stop by when in town. The space is fantastic, giving a basement speakeasy vibe. The bartenders have always been great at conversation, and the music is usually pretty fitting to the setting.
