We went to India Kitchen almost every night for dinner while we were in San Jose — that’s how much we loved it! They make the food properly spicy if you ask, which we really appreciated. It’s a very nice, family-owned business, and they’re always happy to modify dishes based on your preferences. We ended up going there 5–6 times during our stay. Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic Indian food!

This is not your heavy, gravy-style Indian fare but rather fantastic fresh food with a nuanced spice palate. Made to order with great care, this new place is worth visiting! The palak paneer was luscious, bright green, and full of fresh paneer. The chicken Kathi roll was full of flavorful Chicken and veggies. A full array of dosas as well as northern Indian options mean there are options for everyone. Generous portions, thoughtful service, reasonable prices, and a clean locale should fill the surprisingly empty space for lunch or dinner as soon as word gets out.
