The customer service was excellent, friendly and attentive staff made us feel welcomed. As for the food, it was a bit of a mixed experience. The fries with cheese were definitely the highlight crispy, fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Unfortunately, the birria tacos didn’t meet expectations, and the steak with green sauce on the fries just didn’t taste right. The meat had a texture and flavor that made it seem like it had been sitting for a few days. Overall, great service, but the food quality could use some improvement.

I had an awesome experience dining at the Beach Hut Cantina in Daytona Beach! From the moment I arrived, the service was impressively fast — absolutely no wait, which was a nice surprise. The atmosphere was super chill and had a cool, laid-back beach vibe that fit the location perfectly.
The menu offered a great variety of food, so there was definitely something for everyone. Everything was priced very reasonably, especially for being right by the beach. James, our server, was extremely helpful and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed.
Anika, the cook, truly delivered — the food was fresh, flavorful, and really hit the spot. You could tell she put real care into each dish. Between the great service, delicious food, and fun setting, the Beach Hut Cantina is definitely a place I’d recommend and can’t wait to visit again!

We arrived at 1045. Waitress said come on in, I can get you a drink, we’re not serving until 1100. We got beers and ordered the birria burritos and tacos. The tacos came with extra sauce!! Outstanding!! I have a new favorite taco second only to carnitas. I can’t wait to be hungry again to come back and enjoy another round of birria tacos!!

It was a very warm and cozy environment. The whole staff was really friendly and attentive. I was immediately greeted by 3 warm spirits. Anika the cook and both lovely bartenders Jasmine H. and Shay. The food was really great and the Lemon Peach Daiquiri that I had was top tier. If I didn’t watch a review from the hughleys I never would’ve came. I know that it’s human nature to leave a bad review but to whomever is reading this if you receive great service somewhere I encourage you to take a few moments and give them the kudos that they’ve earned!

James and the staff was all very friendly! James gave recommendations on drinks and started with the specials as he gave us the menus. Stellar service very fun and great environment and location! Right off the beach maybe a 2 minute walk right back to the water. Great location!

Had the worst customer service experience here today! I don’t recommend this restaurant if you just want an easy, relaxing meal after a day on the beach.
Came in this afternoon as a group of 6 for lunch. There was only 1 table full and 2 customers at the bar. It’s a very small upstairs restaurant but it was empty. We walked in and weren’t greeted for at least 5 minutes. We didn’t know if we should sit wherever we wanted or what. Being that this is in a tourist location, we don’t know how this particular restaurant does things. That was immediately a bad first impression.
Then, the chick behind the bar finally greeted us and told us to order our food at the bar. We had a decent size order, being that it was 3 adults, 3 children. Our order came up to $150 which included an automatic $25 gratuity. Pretty pricy!! This was without appetizers, just regular meals and 2 cocktails which were only $13 each.
The price was shocking but whatever. We justified it as a nice vacation meal.
As soon as the food started rolling out it was a HOT MESS. We were first served an appetizer that we didn’t order. We didn’t even order an appetizer. Then she dropped off two beef tacos, which we only ordered one beef and one chicken. When my husband told her, she immediately copped an attitude! She was asked his name and said “okay yeah, you ordered that”! Excuse me, if we say we didn’t – we didn’t. Why would we make that up lol.
When I finally got my meal, it was also wrong. I ordered two different tacos and she brought me 3 of the same. It’s just so confusing that she messed that part of the order up. Because it was wrong on the bill too which we found out after.
After that, my husband asked for the receipt and starts telling her what we were missing. She very rudely held the receipt up and said “yeah, we look at the receipt as we are making the food.”
We never ended up receiving my correct meal, my son’s fries never came, one child didn’t receive her sauce.
It was just really frustrating to spend so much on a lunch only to be treated like we are just a burden.
I also have to mention that halfway through the meal we heard the same waitress/bartender telling a customer “I’ll make it when I make it! You can leave if you don’t like it!”
There was another guest that came in and was confused because she wasn’t greeted and the same employee was rude to her. She was so very clearly just annoyed with her job.
Then we saw her with her bike helmet leaving, so I’m guessing she was just ready to be out of there.
Sadly, even though the food was pretty good, we had an uncomfortable experience. I don’t recommend bringing your family to this location unless you don’t mind being treated poorly, charged incorrectly, and getting food you didn’t order.

Me, my wife, and my sister tried this place out because of a food review video from the hughleys on Facebook. Hannah the bartender greeted us and took our order. She was very helpful and nice.
Anika was our cook and the food was amazing. I ordered the snoop fries but subbed the steak out for ground beef. My sister got the queso and dip and like 6 tacos. My wife got the birria tacos and snoop fries.
Hannah also made a pina colada daiquiri for me and it was nothing less than great!
The food and service was great and I cannot wait to come back again.

First time trying and my experience was incredible! Michael and Shay were so fun and enthusiastic, definitely made the experience a million times better. Even conversing with my little crazy kiddo. Dave also threw down in the kitchen food was amazing and came out super fast for being a one man show back there. Me and my little family will definitely be back.
