Amazing restaurant only 15 minutes from Cedar Falls. The owner is a classically trained chef, and he only uses the freshest ingredients. The portions are generous, the food is bursting with flavor, and it’s very reasonably priced. There is also a great craft beer selection, and speciality cocktails, including an award winning Bloody Mary. Great atmosphere and fast and friendly service, as well. On Fridays or Saturdays, you may need a reservation. There isn’t another place with better quality and value anywhere in the Cedar Valley. I heard it was good, so I’d been meaning to try it, but it far exceeded my expectations. This restaurant is a must stop for anyone passing anywhere near Denver. You won’t be disappointed!

AllyCatz GrubHouse was awesome. The jalapeño popper burger was fantastic, and the cheese curds were great too. They’ve got a solid beer selection, and our server Olivia was outstanding. Even the Oreo fluff was a fun bonus. All around, a delicious and welcoming spot.

Food. 5/5. Granted it’s “bar” food, buts it’s some of the best bar food you will eat in the Cedar Valley. The burgers and sides were done right. The sauces they have are delicious. If you like crispy, juicy, piled high burgers, with lots of extras, this place is for you!
Service 5/5. The waiter seated us promptly, got our orders in, food was out in good order. The waiter checked up on us a few times and asked us abou the meal.
Atmosphere 5/5. The place was clean and had interesting art. It has a sports bar vibe. Seats were solid.

I absolutely loved the food, and the service was pretty top-notch as well. Burgers were cooked perfectly and seasoned nicely without being overly seasoned. Steak fries were delicious as well. The Mac was lacking a bit of sauce, but I ordered a side for dipping, so we were able to remedy that. I would recommend they add a touch more so it is creamy and not quite as dry. Mocktails are not overpriced, and they offer a menu at each table. Overall, I would return!

WOW! Stopped for a late lunch on a Saturday, greeted promptly upon arrival, seated quickly, menu explained, order taken, etc. Great service, made accommodations to an order for dietary issues willing, and knocked it out of the park.
The restrooms were clean, the table was clean, and the temperature inside was comfortable for being a hot day outside.
Our waitress, Michelle, was attentive, not pushy, didn’t rush us, super great.
Make this a must stop when traveling or even a destination place for a great meal! Lots of options, and they also serve breakfast all day for those that want that.

Update: June 4, 2025 – We had amazing Boneless Wings and Tator Tots again tonight. These are a must have for us. Past Review: We had amazing food an service at AllyCatz GrubHouse. The building has some amazing architecture. I love how they refinished the old metal ceiling tiles. Very tastefully redo. The menu here is huge with a lot of options for everyone. UPDATE: 8/23/2025 Tonight I tried the loaded Tater Totes. They are amazing!!! I highly recommend.
