Thank you for having us at Christmas Eve Dinner. Great place, tasty food, hot food, all of the favorites, and more! The staff was great. They were friendly and were helpful. The restaurant was really pretty and cozy. I only took off one star because I really love my table bread heated a little.

Daughter asked if we could go to this restaurant to celebrate, Husband and I have dined here before so, why not. This time around the experience– food– was very different and disappointing. 1st the pros though. Our waitress and the entire dining room staff amazing and very friendly. Atmosphere still very charming. We ordered carpaccio and fried zucchine/calamari, my kids devoured and said it was the best they have had. Son had the Margherita and it was good.

The disappointing cons- daughter and husband had chicken Alfredo. Husband said it was really bland compared to the 1st time he had it during our date night. Daughter tells me in Italian “mamma, la pasta ed il pollo non hanno sale”, because she did not want to upset any workers, pretty much pasta amd the chicken are without salt. I ordered the muscles with white wine. Unfortunately they were not clean– had the “beared around the shell and inside, as well as sand”. I asked the waitress if these were frozen and pre-cleaned or needed to still be cleaned. She just answered that was strange. Informed her I was not going to eat them because did not want to risk getting sick. She shrugged and took it back to the kitchen. She did take it off the check, which I appreciate. I guess I was just disappointed that the chef/owner didn’t bother to come to the table, to apologyze or something. It was toward the end evening and there were only 2 tables. I grew up in the gastronomy field– granted it was in Europe so maybe different customs– and have dined at several high end restaurants, both in US and other parts of the world, and it was strange to me that owner/Chef allows uncleaned mollusks to be served (which can happen because we all make mistakes) and does not go to the table to apologyze for the mishap.

Let me start by saying, we will definitely go back! The restaurant is lovely – just love the look and feel of it. The staff is very nice. The wine was great! Our appetizer and desserts were great! Our meals were, just ok. I’m gluten free and I knew they would be very accommodating. I was told my meal was taking 5 minutes longer than the other meals and that the other meals were getting cold. I suggested they bring out the other meals – they were already lukewarm at best. They started eating while I remained waiting. I ordered chicken marsala and it was not good; the chicken was overcooked, the pasta was undercooked, and there was no marsala taste at all. There was also cheese on one chicken slice so I’m not sure where that came from. They offered a free dessert for the wait – I do hope next time we go (and we will) I get to eat the same time as my family with warm, perfectly cooked, meals.

Got to the restaurant at 5:30. Told we could only sit at the bar because every table was booked. Turned out to be true. No issue.
2 servers were not enough to cover a full restaurant. Needed a food runner who could deliver the food and refill drinks. Service suffered because they were constantly in the weeds. It was very obvious some of the patrons were regulars because they received better service and more face time with the servers.
The food is where there is a big problem. I’m a white guy from Texas and I can make better aronchini. The word we decided to describe them was “stodgy”. Dense, under seasoned, and a crust that was pale. The fried zucchini and calamari was mid, with the calamari itself being tender. But the entrees? Both pasta plates came out lukewarm. The torteloni with peas and prosciutto was a huge disappointment. It tasted like many a frozen meals I’ve had in the past – and, no, I’m not being hyperbolic. If that pasta is made in house, I’ll eat crow. The burratta on the other pasta dish was tough and not supple. I will say, their marinara sauce is obviously homemade and tasted great.
I waited tables for a decade putting myself through college and understand being understaffed on a busy night. Maybe this was an off night for both front and back of house, it happens. But you’d have to pay me to go back after this experience, especially with other great Italian places just few miles away that have better food and service at a lower price point.

Absolutely delicious. My husband isn’t big on Italian and thought it was amazing! The owner is the chef and it’s the best Italian I’ve had in a very long time.

A culinary experience! Personal attention from the servers, and excellent down to earth food. The wine list is curated and sure to please, whether the house wines by the glass or something better. Will definitely return.

Had the best birthday dinner there with a friend, celebrating both our birthdays. Food was excellent, the bread was amazing, the server was delightful, and the atmosphere cozy and friendly. Cannot recommend highly enough.
The pasta was excellent the next day as leftovers as well.

Tonight was our first time here, we will definitely return! Service was fantastic and everything we ate was delicious. Started with carpaccio, super tasty, French onion soup next and I had the Vitello Saltimbocca as an entree. Everything hit the spot. Enjoyed a good Malbec to wash it all down. Love the atmosphere, great place!

I had this restaurant saved for some time. It seemed more like a nicer restaurant where a nice bottle of wine would be enjoyed. Fortunately, we were in the area that evening and I took advantage of the opportunity.
The restaurant is smaller than most. Other than a lady at the bar, we were the only ones there. Hannah took us to a table where we started discussing the menu. I imagined Hannah thought I was going to be high maintenance when I asked if the sausage was flavorful since our last experience at another Italian restaurant was very disappointing.
We chose the Caprese Salad as an appetizer and Italian Cavatappi and Vitello Saltimbocca along with a bottle of wine. I was hesitant because one of the last places we went, the sausage had no flavor.
Fortunately, the dishes did not disappoint. The marinara was a little thinner than I am used to, but I used the bread to help soak it up and enjoy it. So maybe that was the plan.
Dessert came with a Chocolate Mousse Cake and Crème Brûlée.
I got the feeling this restaurant had a few regulars, about four tables came in and the gentleman behind the bar seemed to pay extra attention to them.
All in all, the service and food did not disappoint and we had a fantastic evening.

A worthy place to go! I was VERY happy with portion sizes, because I’ve been to several other Italian restaurants in the area that don’t give you enough to justify calling something an entree. Bread and the glass of wine I ordered were excellent. Small hangup was that the space was a wee bit small, and since it wasn’t full of patrons I didn’t like being put in the middle. (In this instance, baby does want to be put in the corner). My carbonara was well-portioned but slightly less flavorful than I expected. Crème brûlée was good to end the meal. If I’m craving local Italian food and I’m over by this way I’ll keep this lovely lil place in mind!
