It was my first time eating at a Hurricane’s. I really loved the decor. The country music was a bit loud. The service was okay. It wasn’t very busy, but we had to wait a bit before our waitress came to take out order. Though she appeared to be the only one. I thought they had plenty of food options to choose from. My friend had eaten at this location many years ago and had enjoyed it. She ordered a burger and onion rings. I had a grilled chicken wrap and tater tots. I really enjoyed my meal. The lunch size gave me enough for another lunch. Granted I generally get a kid’s meal at a fast food place. My friend enjoyed the onion rings though to me they had a very heavy bread coating compared to other places. She had a difficult time eating her burger because the patty was very large and the bun appeared to be the cheapest kind you can buy at the grocery store. She ended up only eating about a 1/3 of it. She said it had absolutely no seasoning. We go out to lunch on a weekly basis. Sadly, we will not be returning to this place. I even had been sending info to my husband about it being an option for a place to watch an NBA game and get a drink. After hearing about our experience there is a chance he will not try it out.

My wife and I were in your location Friday night and were very shocked at the new menu prices. You are going to price yourself out of the market if your not care full. I got 10 bone in wings that were barely touched with sauce. They just drizzled the sauce on the wings when they used to completely cover them. In addition the wings came with celery. I two small pieces of celery, one of which was not even edible. The waitress was very apologetic and got me some celery. My wife get the cheese stake which was loaded with grizzled and came with a small amount of fries that were spread out on the plate to make them look like more. So, higher prices and less food. Great!

We have been here a few times and this is probably our favorite Hurricanes in the Jacksonville area. It has a completely different vibe. The decor is very original. The food is top notch and the drinks and service are top notch as well. Great place to grab a bite to eat(lots of choices), grab a drink or watch a game. Overall great place. I highly recommend this location.

Husband’s beer was good. My margaritas was not!!! Fish and chips was okay. Keylime pie was the worst. We tried this again after many years of staying away hoping it was better. It wasn’t. Wait staff was very good though.

Great atmosphere and decor. Service was wonderful. Food was good! I wish the pretzel would have had salt, and the beer cheese is hit or miss. It either tastes like strong beer, or like nothing. Philly steak is great. Fries tasted a bit like they sat out. Wings were good. Cocktails are great.

Had the fish and chips really good. There was a group of about 10 of us for a birthday gathering and we all had a great time. Everyone enjoyed everything. Great service. The bartenders are especially sweet and very attentive and make excellent drinks

Wanted to try a local wings place in that was not a chain and a friend recommended Hurricane Grill and Wings. I definitely was not disappointed. The decor is cool and it has a mellow environment. The waiter was friendly and very prompt with s service. The pretzel was huge and there was plenty of cheese dip so it made it an excellent choice for an appetizer. The boneless wings were prepared well. We ordered 20 split into 2 sauces which were delicious. A would recommend giving them a try.

We went in with a large party and a short timeline. Half of our soccer team came in for a lunch between games. We were seated immediately and the server was very prompt with getting drinks and food orders in. We ordered 2 fajita bowls, the steak tacos and a kids mac n cheese. All of our food orders came out right and everyone in our party seemed to enjoy their meal. The food was absolutely delicious! I will definitely be back. Thank you for the great service that was super quick and accommodating a large party on short notice!!

I was in town from Savannah GA for a wedding at 2pm 22nov25 at St Juan Catholic Church. The Georgia Bulldogs were playing Charlotte at 12:45pm Hurricanes was one of the closest restaurant/ sports bars to the church. The staff was very accommodating., they put the game on one of the TVs I was able to watch the first quarter & still make the wedding in time. After the wedding I stopped back by to catch the last 05:35 of the game. A staffer custom made me a side salad that was sooo good with blue cheese & bacon bits. I left for the country club for a post wedding dinner. I recommend Hurricanes & am likely to go there again when I am in Fruit Cove or Switzerland Florida.

Hurricane Grill & Wings is a great option for date night, a place to hangout with friends, or easy answer to busy weeknight dinner. They are open late (10pm), have plenty of menu options, a fun tropical environment, and phenomenal staff! Our waitress Ashley B. was so sweet and helpful and very patient with us. We were seated immediately, we felt welcome, and we enjoyed our dinner. I ordered Mahi-Mahi with rice and broccoli, the fish and the rice could have been better but it was nice to have a healthy option. My fiancé thought the wings were excellent!
