We stopped by here for a snack before heading back over the pass to our Genoa resort, and we are glad we did. We had some hand rolls, sake, and Sapporo. Pulling up, you could tell by the people entering and exiting that it was a popular spot, both for locals and tourists. When we left, the line was out the door, so it just got busier. We decided to sit at the counter, as we are bar seat people. The sake was really good, although it took a minute to arrive. The hand rolls were amazing. Although that was our only sample size for the food, we understood the popularity of the place. I didn’t catch the name of a server, as it is a team atmosphere, and several people on the floor and behind the counter helped us. We really enjoyed our stop here. Again, the food was amazing, but the arrival of items was a little off. I might recommend sitting at the tables and not the counter, but I would DEFINITELY stop be here again the next time we are in town. I recommend this place if you are in the area, and see you there (the next time we are in Tahoe)…

Solid Sushi Spot!
Great find in South Lake Tahoe! Fresh sushi with nice variety—loved the spicy tuna roll and rainbow roll, super fresh fish and good portions. Nigiri was high quality too. Cozy vibe, friendly service, and prices are fair for the area. A bit busy at peak times, but worth it. Will come back!

Our new favorite restaurant in South Lake Tahoe area! The food are fresh and taste amazing (we ordered rolls, miso ramen, and tropical roll as dessert), the service is top-tier (our waiters literally read our mind, and always be there when we need them), and it’s so easy to get there and find parking nearby as well.

We started with Egg rolls as they sounded interesting and were a cross between a traditional Egg roll and a Crab Puff, very GOOD.
The Shelly roll and Spicy Scallop was Excellent.
I got the cold Saki (get the more expensive one by the glass) and my wife did a Chardonnay and both were pleased with our selection.
Tried the ‘special desert of the day’, friend Cheesecake. Tasted like a ricotta based instead of NY Cheese cake, and was good.

Wife, mother in law and kids all had some of the best sushi they’ve had in a long time. Chx teriyaki bowl for me was also excellent. Great atmosphere and service. A must for SLT!

My girlfriend and I arrived into South Lake Tahoe to celebrate her birthday weekend and absolutely loved this place. The server had only been there for about a month but directed us through the menu like a pro. The food was amazing, great presentation from start to finish! I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for years and I honestly wouldn’t post reviews unless I felt the need to. This was one of those times! Great job all around I highly recommend to anyone that’s looking for some great sushi 🙂

Our first time visiting this establishment. Their service was top-notch, very friendly and polite, as well as attentive. The Teriyaki bowl was filling, and the rolls we ate with it were very tasty. We now know where we will be going for our sushi in the future.

The fish was incredibly fresh, the presentation (served on a wooden boat!) was a showstopper, and every bite was balanced, textured, and packed with flavor. The staff was kind and gracious, even apologizing multiple times for the delay.
But here’s the kicker: I ordered six rolls, and the bill was just $62. For this quality? Practically unheard of.
