Sadie is amazing! We came just before closing and she was so positive and kind to us. She didn’t rush us out even though our visit was a bit inconvenient. This was my second time coming to Tinga Tacos, and the food is amazing! The chicken tacos are my favorite.

Was just walking downtown and came across this gem. I has forgotten to eat that day, so when I walked in and saw that not only the atmosphere was comfortable, but the prices were low, I was wondering what the quality of the food was going to be, but, they did not disappoint! I had the make your own taco and the “taco sauce” sauce really pulled the whole meal together.
The cashier seemed really kind and when I asked what part of the pig the pork came from, they went and asked the chef with no hesitation (it’s the shoulder, by the way, and it was good, too, not dry at all). The food came fresh and fast as well. I will be visiting here a couple times a month I think when I want a lunch when I’m doing business Downtown.

I really can’t say enough good things about this place. It’s become a regular spot for my partner and I anytime we’re in Springfield. The last time we were there, we ordered one of everything! There wasn’t a single thing that we tasted that we didn’t absolutely like. If you’re downtown on the weekends late night, this is definitely the spot to be! I could eat those crushers all night

This place was amazing! We went on a Thursday and found out they have select tacos for $1.50 so that was a nice surprise.
The Tinga Taco was chicken, cheese, pico, with pickled carrots and onions.
The Crusher Taco was beef, cheese, lettuce, and taco sauce.
We will be back to try more of these tacos!

Been a Chef most of my adult life; just moved to MO about a year and a half ago. Probably the worst taco ever. To much salt and lime bought 4 taco tried to finish the fourth; but could not. Let the cashier know about the food all she could say is sorry. Should not add salt; let the patron add the salt.

This place has a wide variety of very interesting tacos. Also their chips and queso are exquisite. The chips are extraordinarily thick and crunchy with a seasoning on them the likes I have never tasted. It’s located right in the heart of downtown and reasonably priced for the quality of food you receive. I would recommend this place to any taco lover. The seating is limited and the ambience leaves something to be desired but the quality of food more than makes up for it.

Always good service and delicious food. It’s in a nice location there seems to be fair amount of parking in the area. It’s a good place to eat then walk off your tacos. They have both tofu and black bean tacos and they’re delicious.

We found this place last minute down town before we went to our show at the comedy club! Both of us enjoyed our tacos and we got a chips and queso to share! Neither of us had been here before so we just winged it the cashier was helpful and patient! I definitely want to come back and try more of the food options! I even tried the chili vinegar and it was good and a nice touch to my taco! My friend got a spicy taco and said it was absolutely perfect nothing extra needed to it! We will be back!
