I attended a tasting collective event here with a special menu designed by the chef. It was exquisite. Everything from the food to the service to the presentation. Everything was super fresh and delicious and they really have the freshest ingredients.
The chef came out and explained every dish. He was wonderful and so approachable. He even did a q&a for everyone.
There was a salad dish with raw pumpkin in it and it was fabulous! I’m not sure how he made this special type of raw pumpkin so yummy.
The tuna tartar was excellent. As was the steak

The dessert was to die for. It was a chiclet cake with pumpkin mousse. Would definitely dine here again in a heartbeat.

It’s a wonderful ocean port side view restaurant with romantic and modern vibes. It was delicious to the last bite with lovely pairings of easy to sip cocktails. The aged tuna was a first for me and it changed my palate going forward. The pigs ear’s tots is a must starter and the seared foie gras tastes like desert as it should be. I had seconds on both, it was that amazing!

I’ve been a loyal customer of Woods Hill Pier 4, so I was thrilled when I heard they were opening their sister restaurant, The Block, right next door.
The food did not disappoint, and our waitress was phenomenal. We almost ordered the whole menu! Our favorite dish was the beef carpaccio. The only dish I think they need to reconsider is the tuna crudo; the ingredients just didn’t go well together.
When we were paying, we briefly mentioned it was my birthday. The waitress was so sweet and sent over a coconut purée as a gift! It was a perfect end to the meal.

New fave dinner spot? *Confirmed.*
Had the BEST night at the grand opening of **The Block** in Seaport and I’m still dreaming about:

Deviled eggs with a kick
Melt-in-your-mouth beef carpaccio
A martini flight that made decisions impossible (so we tried them all)
A charcuterie board that was almost too pretty to eat… almost . The Block is located next to its sister restaurant Woods Hill at Pier 4. I can’t wait to come back.

Wow..I went with my 2 friends last night for a girls night out and we didn’t even plan to come here. We were walking by and talked about how we wanted to try this place, and there were bar seats open, so we walked right in!

1. The service was fantastic. Our bartender, Emma Rue, came right up to us as we were sitting down. She was a doll. All the staff was so nice and made the experience a 10.

2. The food. We had already eaten meals and were only looking for a 1 more drink, but could help but order a few snacks because the menu looked SO GOOD! The focaccia bread, the pig tots, and the ice cream sundae were all AMAZING.

3. The drinks. I got the farmers special drink and it was beets, which sounds wild, but it was SO GOOD and the way that Emma Rue described it was perfect, which is even more impressive. The old fashion was also amazing, and we ended the night with a few glasses of orange wine.

4. The ambiance. If you are a foodie, sitting at the bar by the chefs counter is for you. We got to see them make everything and their precision, cleanliness, and professionalism was a 10. It was very fun watching all the cool plates be made.

I don’t think this is a place for kids, but it’s a fantastic date night spot and I will be going back time and time again.

LOVE!

This is such a great location in the Seaport. I love their menu — it’s so creative and interesting, and I really appreciate the sustainable focus. Everything we ordered blew me away.
The pommes soufflé are a must if you love a caviar-chip moment. We practically licked the plate clean with the buffalo cauliflower. The persimmon salad had so many textures and felt incredibly fresh, and the salmon crudo was lovely. The tuna ribeye is like nothing I’ve ever had before — really, really delicious and so interesting.
The service is phenomenal, and the space is dark, cozy, and romantic at night. Definitely will be back, especially in the summer!

Thank you so much for phenomenal experience from the attentiveness to the creativity of the meals. I’m going to tell everyone to run not walk. I felt like everything was so inventive so fresh you really let every single flavor shine through and some of the dishes I’ve never had anything like that before ! I need to come back ! I feel like I could discover something new in a dish each time I eat there . The highlights were definitely the Caesar salad and the lobster empanada and the flat iron steak with these crunchy butter pieces like butter, popcorn, steak it was amazing ! We also got the foi and of course ended with the soft serve shortcake sundae !

Amazing dinner, decor, ambiance, and service. We loved all our dishes. Absolutely fantastic beef carpacchio and tuna crudo. The beans were magical, lol. The evening view of the sky makes it very romantic spot.

A fantastic restaurant with a lot of promise. They’re showing some shaking-out issues, but that’s to be expected, and I predict our friendly-and-learning service to bump up to knowledgeable and smooth very quickly.

They will recommend the charcuterie— listen to them. The duck rilette and pate campagne were excellent – everywhere they tried to combine flavors they landed the subtleties wonderfully. Other standouts for us were the deviled eggs.

They have a cocktail menu, which we sampled. Even as cocktail lovers, though, we were seduced by a really creative and well-curated wine list. It isn’t extensive, but we were happy with our selections.

Dessert was an amazingly smooth ice cream with a balsamic drizzle — top marks.

The location is amazing, right on the water with the sunset behind it. The food is already very good – given time to shake out the wrinkles, this could become a real fan favorite.
