Very swanky restaurant in downtown Vero.
Start your evening off with a “happy hour” priced cocktail on the outside patio. Then indoors for your reservation for supper.
We visited on Wednesday which was paella night. It was great – comes as a serving for two and we took home a to-go bag for what we couldn’t finish.

Claire and I had a wonderful lunch at The Wave in Vero Beach! The atmosphere was relaxed yet elegant, perfect for a mid-day getaway. For drinks, Claire had Gloria’s Cosmo and I tried the Old Cuban. Both were excellent and expertly crafted.

We started with the Black Bean Hummus appetizer, which was flavorful and fresh. For our mains, Claire had the Mojo Marinated Chicken (which I have to admit, I wish I’d ordered because it was incredible!), while I went with their famous American Wagyu Beef Burger, which definitely lived up to its reputation.

Great food, great drinks, and a wonderful experience overall. Highly recommend The Wave for anyone visiting Vero Beach!

May have been one of the best dinners we have had in a long time. The atmosphere is tranquil and soothing. The staff is incredible and very friendly. Our waitress, Chelsea, was the highlight of the evening — warm, attentive, and genuinely cared that we had a perfect meal. The meal exceeded our expectation. The swordfish was so fresh and tasted amazing as was the skirt steak Cuban style. Desert made the night with their flourless chocolate cake and espresso gelato. If you’re looking for amazing food and even better service, this is the place.

My wife and I took a week-long break to spend time at Vero Beach. One of our friends recommended the Wave Kitchen & Bar inside the Costa d’Este Beach Resort, and it couldn’t have been better. The atmosphere was amazing. We ordered the Luxe Mojito, the Peach Burrata as an appetizer, and the Paella. Hands down, the service was excellent.

Amazing food with great service – if you like fine dining, I recommend! The grilled chicken is very flavorful, and the paella is great.

Dessert is a wide choice of selection from flan to churros – both of which are delicious!

The Wave Restaurant in Vero Beach, FL never disappoints. I ordered the 12oz Prime New York Strip Steak served on a hot rock, and it was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked and such a fun experience. The mashed potatoes were incredible as well, rich and flavorful.

The service is always great, attentive and friendly without being overbearing. And don’t leave without trying a drink — their espresso martinis and sangria are truly out of this world.

An excellent spot for a great meal, drinks, and consistently wonderful service. Highly recommend!

If you’re in downtown Vero Beach you’re not going to see this hidden gem of a restaurant because it’s tucked inside Gloria Estefan’s luxurious Costa d’Este Beach Resort & Spa. The Wave Kitchen and Bar blends upscale coastal cuisine with Latin flair. Enjoy oceanfront dining, fresh local seafood, and signature cocktails in a chic, tropical setting. The service impeccable, food was excellent, the drinks were so good we drank them before our cheers, lol! I have not stayed here at the resort but we walked out to the beach after lunch and it was beautiful! Looking forward to staying sometime in the future!

Being from Miami and eating Cuban food several times a week with cafecito everyday at Versailles, I had to eat here at Emilio and Gloria’s place. I visited this hotel/restaurant about 7 years ago when things were slower and found the look and food was the same, great, but the vibe was definitely Conga. The service was great and since I needed my Cuban fix I had to go with the Lechon Asada con plantano maduros, frioles negro y arroz. Awesome!!! The quality was fantastic. The pork was presented a little differently than in Miami and it was great. Sautéed onions throughout the pulled pork. I would have eaten a whole onion had they baked it. Every bite was delicious including the frioles con arroz. I would only recommend a little juice of the pork be drizzled over the top upon serving. The atmosphere was appropriately Cuban-like which is fun and in a family style with loud talking which translates into love. Unfortunately the love was little too much. I recommended 7 years ago that they use sound dampeners or conversation would become a battle. Most gringos (like myself) don’t expect the loudness but as I’m used to the love in Miami, I expected it . I really enjoyed myself and it was nice to see Emilio there. Me encanta todo

We weren’t sure what to expect, but as a group without reservations, we were happy they could seat us right away on a Saturday evening! Not the norm in Vero I know!
Con first, a bit loud for conversation with the live music. Not bad music, just hard to converse.
Pros -Enjoyed their drinks, two of us had the mahi and it was so delicious we didn’t want it end! A couple had their recommended Cuban faire and enjoyed it as well.
Staff did a good job, no complaints.
We would definitely eat there again but perhaps try to sit outside.

The food was good and Teri the host was AMAZING! Not a very a good experience with the server Gabriella and the valet guy, when we pulled up in a Toyota the valet said it was super busy everyone sitting outside was coming inside( due to the high winds), there was nothing available inside, but he said if we wanted to sit on the outside. That didn’t make sense yo me. He said wait l’ll ask inside, he came back and said there was nothing available.
Before going to the restaurant I called to find out details. As we pulled away i call back, spoke to Teri, that I spoke to before said yes, they do have availability and gave us a reservation within a few minutes.
When we pulled back into the restaurant, the valet guy said, “oh something must’ve opened”, sounded like BS! When we walked inside the restaurant they had plenty of seating for two. And I sure didn’t see anyone from the out side coming inside. Gabriella our server started great, then it seemed like once a party of 3 came sat at the table next to us became priority. After she took away our lunch plates she asked if we wanted our check? I ask for espresso and desert. Took our coffee and desert order and she got lost after that. I had to get up twice to look for her.
The restaurant was not that busy. When she came after the first time looking for her, she apologized and said it got real busy, I said to her, “It doesnt look busy”, she got defensive and blamed it on the cooks; “We only have 4 cooks for outside, inside and hotel. Deserts took longer than the meal to come out.
We will go back for the food and host Teri!
