This establishment was absolutely packed on a rainy saturday and we ended up ordering takeout as we didn’t have time to wait for a table in the dining area. It is a bit confusing and overwhelming when first entering as the signage doesn’t really indicate where you order takeout, and they don’t offer a menu until you pass through the checkout line and reach the registers. That being said, service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and efficient, and we only had to wait approximately ten minutes for our food to be ready. The sandwiches were very tasty, and the bread was fantastic. Lots of fresh baked goods were available, along with a small grocery section and alot of the usual gifts and trinkets you’d find at any well established farm shop. We’ll definitely be stopping here again next time we’re in the area, hopefully for a sit-down meal as their full menu looked very good.

This is a family run and operated bakery and restaurant. The Mennonite people will make sure you don’t leave hungry.

Come early as it gets busy and reserve your seat at the restaurant at the back left corner inside. You must take some baked goods pies or anything else you can find home as everything is delicious! Loved the apple fritter donuts.

I can’t wait to make the drive out into the country and come here again!

We went on a Saturday afternoon and the place was very busy. As soon as you enter the building, please head towards the left side of the building where the dining (host) area is located. Make sure to write your name, time of arrival and the size of your party and they will seat you accordingly. The intercom announcement works great. We waited approximately 45 minutes to be seated. The dining service is from 11am to 7pm.

Once seated, we all ordered the Fall Deal meal that is a choice of soup or salad, choice of meat, dessert.

The broasted (baked and roasted?) chicken is worth the hype. The corn, mashed potatoes and fries were very good too. We got the coconut cream, pecan pies and a chocolate sundae. The pies were also very good. There’s a bakery side in which you can buy the pies and other baked goods and takeout prepared meals. They also sell souvenirs and handcrafted items.

Good experience overall and worth the drive.

If you love a delicious, home-cooked meal with fresh ingredients, fast and friendly table service, plus a great bakery and cute gift shop, Anna Mae’s is for you!
Although the menu isn’t extensive, it features popular Canadian dinners and desserts.
Pricing is excellent, and portions are generous.
This was my first visit and I will definitely be a repeat customer!

Decided to take a drive from Milton to experience this place.
Wow! Short of a big piece of bone in my turkey dinner(which was removed from our bill-thank you) honestly this place is a must try. 5 dining rooms, people lined up however it moves fast. Service is excellent, meals are so tasty and large portions. Bakery is heavenly and I’d say 98% of store items are hand made.

Great dinner. The chicken was fresh out of the broaster, very moist and juicy. The peanut butter pie for dessert was amazing. The bakery is full of many things to bring home, I got butter tarts, rocky road bars and apple fritters. Definitely worth the trip

Great service and food for a great price! My husband got the full meal deal with ham/potato soup, broasted chicken, carrots, fries, a cheese roll, and dutch apple pie with ice cream. He loved the broasted chicken and dutch apple pie. I am vegetarian and was pleasantly surprised with how flavourful the vegan soup was. The egg salad sandwich was also delicious. We will be back!

We are so glad, we visited this gem of a place.

Had brunch from Anna Mae’s. The food was scrumptious. Service was excellent, and the whole thing costed much less than what we expected.

The store has a lot of items including bakery, maple syrup, honey, essential oils and many more.

We bought Raspberry pie, Blueberry cheese cake(the best we ever had), cookies and hot cross buns.

Would love to visit again.

Network coverage was slow, but then people were having real conversation.

We highly recommend the restaurant for its delicious broasted chicken dinner, the bakery for its scrumptious deserts and the gift shop for its delightful selection of truly Canadian treasures and handmade craft items. Our service from the hostess, table server and cashier was super friendly and cheerful which really added to our enjoyment of our visit. Anna Mae’s is definitely worth the drive! Don’t wait until you are just passing through town. Plan on getting desert to take home because the meal portions are really generous and the menu options are vast.

Driving up from London is a bit of a drive but well worth the visit. We tried the chicken breast dinner- the chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside – just right. The portions are very reasonable – you can choose from 2,3 or 4 pieces. We followed it up with a banana cream pie. While I won’t say the pie was anything extra ordinary, but it was a good ending to the meal.
