The food here was super good! I ordered the catfish and my husband the fried chicken. They were really busy on a Sunday afternoon with only 2 waitresses. However, they were friendly and communicated with us immediately. We ordered a piece of chocolate pie for home.

I was in on a Friday and had the fish. It was very good. The hot Bbq sauce was nice to add to the fish. The fries were good but the fish was so much food I barely had room for sides. This restaurant is off the beaten path in a commercial park. The lot was filled with workers on a Friday. A testimonial to a good plate for the price

We just love this place!!! They have a large variety of meals & appetizers – Each one as awesome as the one before!!!! We both had deep fried Southern Catfish, I had the deep fried California with ranch so yummy it’s one of my favourite things!!! & My Sister Jeanette Pulley had the Southern fried catfish, the deep fried shrimp, BBQ Ribs, fried mushrooms, Cole slaw & baked potato!!!
We were both very happy & full & ready for a nap!!
I want to say that their service was excellent very friendly The servers are on the Ball – they don’t keep you waiting… Atmosphere is very comfortable in its very clean I will be recommending this place to anybody and everybody!!

I used to love Triple E, but I haven’t been to this one. I hate walking into a restaurant to be ignored. When the waitress finally sat us, she failed to get us menus, daughter got up to get them. I had to get the paper towel napkins from another table. The ‘Waitress’ never refilled drinks, we had to get up and ask someone behind the counter, the place wasn’t busy but we had to ask the ‘waitress’ to take dirty dishes from our table. Finally had to go to the counter to get our bill, where was our ‘waitress’ talking to someone in the kitchen. The food wasn’t near as good as I remember. Won’t ever stop there again.

Made the drive from metropolis to try it out had been a couple years since I was there for the first time. The service was wonderful food was amazing I got the $2.99 pulled pork sandwich special (2) and a side of what looked to be hand battered Reid onion rings. I’m allergic to shellfish and she assured me I perfectly ok to get fried items as they are cooked in a separate fryer. Best onion rings I’ve ever had. Also the pork sandos were tender and juicy i love their spicy bbq sauce got a to go box for one of my sandwiches and she gave me a 4oz ramekin of the sauce to go as well. Highly recommend and i will be back!

This is a long time Marion Restaurant located north of town off Highway 37. I have eaten there dozens of times over the years. The food is always good. I like the BBQ, fish sandwiches, and wings. Atmosphere can best be described as casual. If you’re looking for a good meal you won’t be disappointed. It opens at 11am. They don’t serve breakfast.

Just had lunch there. Ordered mix and match all you can eat. Fish was good. Shrimp was good. Fries were over cooked. Bread was stale. Okra was cold. Rib tips!!! Worst i ever seen. No bark on outside. Served dry and belive me they needed sauce. Very very fatty. Grease on bottom of plate. Tender? First try was very tough. Cut piece of meat off. Had to spit it out. Too tough to even chew and barely even warm. Told waitress and she brought a new plate out. Second batch were raw. And still too tough to chew. So i got zero ribs. Asked for more shrimp. By the time they brought it out we were getting ready to leave. When i got to counter asked for manager. Told none was there. Asked her to call manager. She went in back and a guy csme out and said he was manager. Told him about it and was told “i wish i could do something to help you but not going to. So me and wife had lunch .i got half of what i ordered. And still payed full amount of $42.00. No compensation for ribs or anything. I had terrible food . Even worse service and was still charged full price. Too many bbq joints in marion to waste your time in this hole of a restaurant

Special was 4 pieces of chicken with 2 sides. Got the last 2 plates of chicken. Was piping hot and delicious. All the food looked good. Fish and ribs and pulled pork. Very busy place but still had good service and staff was very nice.
