I’ve had one of the best taco truck service here at KC Birria. The truck is located on 5th Street and has been serving delicious Mexican street food for over 10 years. The owners, Juan and Maria Ramirez, are known for their authentic recipes and friendly service. One of their most popular dishes is the birria tacos, which are made with tender, slow-cooked beef and topped with fresh onions, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime. The flavors are incredible and the portions are generous. It’s no wonder that KC Birria has become a favorite among locals and tourists alike.

Had an initial good impression of KC Birria at First Fridays. Decided to order quesabirrias that first time and they were amazing! Juicy, flavorful and consomé to dip in and the jalapeños and onions to top with.
This time, I ordered the same thing and got dry cheese tacos topped with a bit of birria and nooo consomé, jalapeños or onions. It was like they changed within a week. Not sure what happened but this is not what I had loved that first time.

We were here for two nights from the UK and thought we must try Birria Tacos, decided on KC Birria and it was incredible! Fresh, delicious, super affordable and friendly service. If we’re ever back in Kansas, we will definitely return!

Best tacos I’ve had in Kansas City hands down. Not to mention the staff is always so sweet and the service is fast. They’re also open late so it’s perfect for those late night snacks or a quick stop after hitting the bars. The prices are great, I will literally never go to Taco Bell again. 10/10 recommend.

Good experience. Owner helped me decide what I wanted, it was done in a reasonable amount of time and tastes great. I got full off of $11 worth of REAL good food. Side note but I love how the truck looks also. Definitely coming back

I’m not sure why this place has 5 stars. I went in for lunch thinking this place had good birria but honestly it does not. The server/cook was really nice and had great customer service but the quality of the food was not there. This place is located by an alley and had alot of homeless people passing by and I was not comfortable eating there. I gulped down the tacos to get out of there. The tacos are sooo small and with little meat. The meat needs flavor. The presentation of the plates are nice, it had its salsas, lime, and cucumber. The consome was the only thing I enjoyed. The burritos are soo skinny, it needs more rice and beans and flavor!!! Good luck next time.
