Reviews
All the dishes that we ordered as shown in the pictures below are really as good as it gets for being in the west. I usually write longer and more in-depth reviews, however, in this case, I don’t find a reason to the review, speak for themselves.
Every dish was, spot on. There really is not much to say besides this place is I must try.
I highly recommend this location over the Dearbon location.
This is operated by its owner. They Always greet you with a warm welcome unlike the other location.
I visit this restaurant at least 6 times every year from Florida.
I invite my family and friends for Sunday breakfast during each visit.
I had tried everything on the menu. I mean everything.
When you have 10 plus Lebanese relatives on your table, you gotta order all items.
Believe me, the restaurant’s name fits perfectly with its food. DELICIOUS.
My favorite is the Entire breakfast menu. I can barely say that about other places.
Their falafel is my second favorite after Rafic. It’s still very delicious.
Do Not Forget To Eat at this restaurant when you visit Michigan. You will be Amazed.
At-Tayyib in Dearborn is truly one of those rare places where authenticity is not a slogan, but something you taste in every bite. From the moment the food arrived, it felt like being transported straight to a humble Syrian kitchen where care, tradition, and pride are poured into each dish.
We started with the musabaha, and it was absolutely outstanding. The balance of chickpeas, tahini, garlic, and lemon was spot on—rich, warm, and deeply comforting. It tasted exactly the way musabaha should: simple, honest, and full of soul, without any shortcuts or unnecessary twists.
The falafel deserves special mention. Perfectly crispy on the outside and soft, green, and fragrant on the inside, it was clearly made fresh and with the right blend of herbs and spices. This is real falafel—the kind that reminds you why this dish is loved across the Levant.
We also ordered harura and hummus, and both were exceptional. The harura was hearty and warming, with that unmistakable homemade flavor, while the hummus was silky smooth, well-seasoned, and beautifully balanced. Nothing was overpowering—just clean, authentic Syrian flavors done right.
Overall, At-Tayyib is a gem in Dearborn. Every dish felt authentic, thoughtful, and made with love. If you’re looking for true Syrian food that respects tradition and delivers quality without compromise, this place is absolutely worth five stars and more.
