Nice clean place
Tried the chicken parm and tacos and overall was good. Not as much flavor as I would expect for Italian food though. I also left hungry still so I wish the portions were a little bigger.

Lots of good looking cocktail options too

Still definitely worth coming back!

This place is amazing! From the service to the food , no complaints. 2nd time here and I’ll definitely keep coming back. I got the prime burger with bacon jam. It was banging with flavor!! Best bacon jam I’ve ever had.
Oh Watch watch damnThe Mac N Cheese is smacking with flavor, creamy and delicious. Sweet potato fries are flavorful with butter, cinnamon and sugar. Broccoli cheddar soup is great
The prices are affordable for the quality of food you receive. Our waitress Danielle was helpful and amazing.

Recommend!
Phenomenal! The food was very good, every dish we had had great taste and was nice and hot. I really recommend saving room for dessert too, those were so good. Our server Abbie S. did a great job. She was friendly, helpful and attentive. Overall very good experience at Prime 166. Highly Recommend!

Clean, quaint atmosphere with excellent food, cocktails, and service. Jess was our server and she was friendly, polite, and very attentive. Everything we tried was delicious—from the meatball appetizer to the Caesar wrap. I highly recommend the mac and cheese and the salmon; both were full of flavor and served fresh and hot.

Appetizer 3 drinks and two Gyros that were mediocre at best $100. Server was very nice. Probably won’t return until a pub crawl. Also two types of music going at once.

I tried this place for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Formerly Tocos ‘n’ Tequila, I was very curious to see how good this place would be after seeing a sample size of great reviews.

We ordered wings and saganaki for an appetizer and I ordered a mixed drink. It was all pretty good. The wings weren’t great but still decent.

For dinner, I ordered the steak and fries. I got it cooked medium rare. And for the price, you really cannot beat it. The quality of the meat was good and it was cooked to a perfect medium rare, which is crucial when eating a steak. I didn’t think it was really necessary to put the gravy on the steak and fries though. It didn’t ruin it by any means, but I definitely could have gone without it.

The other people that I was with ordered the chicken fingers and the cod, both of which were very good. The chicken fingers seemed homemade and had a distinct texture to them. We really enjoyed them. The fish was very good also, being very flavorful and meaty.

The service was good. The gentlemen that waited on us seemed very engaged with his patrons. It did take a bit of time for our food to come out though. Definitely something to keep in mind.

The atmosphere was cool too, which is the same layout as Tacos ‘n’ Tequila. I believe that you can enter the Oak barrel bar over by the restrooms. I kind of like how a lot of these bars and restaurants segue into each other.

Overall, I was satisfied with the experience of this place. The food was good and the price was right. While it is a new restaurant and there are still some things to iron out, this place can be one of Wyndotte’s gems if all things go accordingly.

So this place has an identity crisis in my opinion. It feels like it doesnt know what it wants to be. Upscaleish food? Sure. Wants to also be a bar. It seems that way.

Menu/food:
The menu is weird, on its face it seems like diner food at a high price point. But once you get the food it is all really good. Among our table was a
– Steak/frites, 5 stars
– Fish & Chips, 5 stars
– Chicken Marsala, 5 stars
– Beef Marsala, 5 stars
– Sure and Turf Shrimp combo thingy, 5 stars

Service:
Our server was very lovely and attentive, but a couple small mistakes for how slow it was can be excused, in my opinion. Also they added an automatic 20% gratuity, which we all thought was strange only for a table of 5.

Atmosphere:
It looks awesome in there, cool wallpaper, amazing cups and plates. The water was served in like a plastic pitcher thing which I thought was a little lowbrow for the environment they are trying to portray.

But the deadness of the restaurant, combined with an employee working on schedules at the bar, and another man on a laptop at the bar talking to a zoom meeting our whole dinner (think he was a patron) was off putting.

To sum up my experience, we would go again. But the whole experience was saved by the food, and I would like to see more unique offerings on the menu, their kitchen obviously has the talent for it.

The price point is high (we spent 200 for a table of 5, only 2 alcohalic drinks) make me feel the experience is worth that much.
