The staff here were incredibly friendly and clearly working hard, just two people managing dine-in tables, phones, DoorDash, and takeout orders. Despite being stretched thin, they stayed attentive and kind throughout the visit.

That said, the food took a bit longer than expected. It was about 20 minutes before the appetizer (spicy cream cheese mushrooms) arrived, with the calzone following shortly after. The Diet Coke had an odd taste, but the Sprite was fine.

As for the food itself, delicious. The mushrooms were rich and flavorful, but $8 for just six felt a little steep, especially when Hideaway Pizza offers a similar appetizer with nearly three times the quantity for about the same price. The $12 calzone had a perfectly crisp exterior but was heavy on the bread and light on the meat and cheese, Marco’s Pizzoli offers a better balance for the price.

What really sealed the decision not to return was being charged $1 for a side of ranch. It may seem like a small thing, but when places like Larry’s offer ranch freely, it feels unnecessarily stingy.

Overall, the experience was great in terms of taste and service, but the portion sizes and pricing might make me think twice about coming back. Still worth a try if you’re nearby and not in a hurry.

The meatball sub is on par with the best Chicago subs! The house made marinara earns a10! The bread is that wonderful combination of chewy/crunchy/cheesy. Lori and the rest of the staff will take great care of you. A “must try” if you are near Cabot, AR.

First and last. Won’t be returning. There is ONE piece of pepperoni less than 5 pea size pieces of what faintly resembles ham… and the olives were halfway rancid.. it’s a distinct taste. Dough is below basic. $5 little Caesars is better. Save your money and time.

On 1/10/26 my wife and I ordered and picked up 2 pizzas. When we got home and opened the box Both Pizzas were burnt. They were barely edible at all. I am a frequent customer to Brickoven and have never had any issues until now. We did not contact the store and tell them as we were both sick and didn’t feel like returning all the way from McRae to Cabot.

Went here for the first time right when they opened for lunch, we were greeted warmly. The service was great and they answered all of our questions about the menu and lunch specials. I had the supreme pizza in a bowl (no crust). It was amazing and so much food! I would definitely recommend sharing this! My husband had a meatball sub and salad from the lunch menu. He was very pleased as well. We will be back again!

Supreme pizza ordered with extra sauce; but came with negligible amount. Staff tried to compensate with marinara, but it did not help the flavor. We tried to finish it, but couldn’t. It just wasn’t made well at all. We just paid and left, probably won’t return. Service and atmosphere were great, in spite of that.
