I really don’t know where to begin, I was skeptical at first, and unfortunately I was right again. I come a LONG line of great city’s and great Mexican food! By far the worst of 4 places that say they are authentic. The host was not pleasant at all! Our SERVER WAS AMAZING! Her name is (Kessnia) was super amazing, then we sit at a BOTH/table because my wife is unfortunately temp disabled, I took the both bar and it was broken, almost fell through it, then the food comes out and I had ordered the chicken enchiladas. That was the worst part of the the dinner! The rice tasted like it was made from a box, the Beans where drier then the desert out here! I wanna thank the manager got the comp food, but unfortunately I would not let my Dog eat it, then I was asked to try their cheese cake, I’m a Huge fan of cheesecake and let me say, a blind man could of made it better, if it was not for the GREAT SERVER. I would have walked my wife did not even finish her food, how bout get some real COOKS. I’ll try again maybe later in the year and STICK To your sign, if you say you’re authentic stick to it get real Cooks.

Abuelo’s is a southwest “Mexican” restaurant. The red chile is actually a chili con carne. They don’t sell burritos to order, and the chimichanga is a poor substitute. I got the steak and enchilada. The papas were so good, like a creamy scalloped potatoes! The steak was a good cut, but it was overly seasoned (salted). The service is good. If you are happy with the menu it’s great. If you’re thinking you’re getting New Mexician food it’s a miss.

This is a great restaurant. My wife and I have been coming here for 20 years. We’ll, 20 for her, 15 for me. We have never had bad service. Once in a great while the food comes out wrong but its always been fixed quickly. But that’s rare it’s wrong. Our favorite servers are Ricardo, Grace, and Marty. Friendly, and very attentive to our family.

Lacy is doing a terrific job as the new GM. Very personable and engaging.

Always a joy being here.

We had fantastic service and meal including the bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer, fajita dinner for two (steak and shrimp) and for dessert the flan and cheesecake. It was a lovely evening for an early Valentine’s celebration! Great date night spot.

I haven’t been to Abuelo’s in 20 years! The fact it’s still standing in this location tells me all I needed to know. Hands down the greatest Mexican food I’ve had in probably forever. I’m over here kicking myself for not returning sooner. The location is beautiful inside. From the nice decor, large bar and comfortable seating we had a great time. Our server was friendly and attentive. He gave great options he liked off the menu. We started with the Diablo Queso and it was delicious! It also comes with its own chips. The table comes with free chips and three salsas if you don’t want to order extra appetizers. For main courses we ordered the green chile pork chimichanga and Chicken Tampiquena. My husband chose of a side was their signature mashed potatoes (freaking phenomenal). The refried beans tasted homemade and I loved the flavors of my chicken Tampiquena mixed with the rice and seasoned veggies. Even though we were so full by the end we just had to try their Dulce de Leche Cheesecake. 11/10 would recommend even if you took it home for later. So good! Best part besides of course the food was the prices. They offer a great happy hour as well as reasonable prices meals with huge portions. We can’t wait to be back.

This was my first time visiting Abuelo’s…….the outside and inside is very beautiful…….there were 2 hosts, both were professional but NOT friendly NOT welcoming at all, just said how many and how long the wait would be……not welcome to Abuelos or is this your first time here or anything…. no eye contact os any other conversation……..now our waitress on the other hand was completely opposite, she was extremely professional, friendly and welcoming……it seemed as if she enjoyed her job and she smiled and laughed at my dumb jokes……I don’t know if since this was a holiday weekend it was abnormally busy but I think our waitress had to many tables to cover……we were there for an hour and barely saw her because she was so busy…..she did from time to time ask if we were ok but when we did want something else she was very busy with her section……in no way was this her fault, our waitress was awesome, I think they were under staffed……the food was delicious and the prices were affordable and the portions were on point for the price……although my steak was not good at all , very chewy and no flavor BUT the rest of the meal was FANTASTIC……..atmosphere was perfect……I will be returning to Abuelo’s……

This place was horrible . Nothing we ordered off the menu was good. Hoped the dessert would’ve been better but tasted like a store bought cake . Won’t be going back there .

The food was absolutely delicious, I had three enchiladas with three different sauces. My wife had one enchilada and a chile Relleno both dishes came with rice and beans. The proportions are large and we had to take home. The atmosphere is very inviting our waiter. Definitely knew the product and made wonderful recommendations. This is definitely first class operation.
