My daughter and I had such a great visit at Waffle House in Fort Payne. It was the perfect stop for a cozy meal together.
I ordered the chicken melt sandwich with hashbrowns all the way and everything was hot, fresh, and full of flavor. My daughter got the protein bowl and really enjoyed it. We decided to share a slice of chocolate pie and wow… it was amazing and the perfect sweet ending to our meal.
Our waitress was incredibly kind and attentive, which made the experience even better. The restaurant was super clean and even the restrooms were well kept, which you definitely notice and appreciate.
Great food, friendly service, and a comfortable atmosphere. We will absolutely be back and definitely recommend stopping in if you are nearby!

Excellent service! Food hot and fresh and perfectly cooked. Coffee was great. Servers checked in us often and took great care of us and didn’t forget to bring anything we asked for. Food came out quickly. Busy place and quick turnaround on tables. I appreciated the cranberry foam soap in the bathroom (some soaps stink or give me headaches) Excellent Waffle House!!

I’m over the road blk truck driver, and this establishment was across the street from the truck stop. So i walked over 4 some breakfast. When got there, nobody greeted me when i came in, and as sat down at the counter, i got side eyed by the waitress, (note: im the only blk guy in this establishment ) as I waited for somebody to come to me to ask me to take my order. I waited, waited, & waited 4 someone to take my order. As other people came in they was greeted and seated. And at this time i started to notice nobody was going to serve me. So after 15 mins of waiting and getting the side eye i got up and left. One min! I was spoken to by one person. The brother on the grill said good morning. So at this time i politely got up and walked out. I noticed i wasn’t getting severed there. But! I did lett the staff know how disappointed i was with they service. So now im at the huddle house across the street with better service and staff. They greeted me as i walked into the restaurant. So thank you huddle house 4 keeping it real and make my day better. The waitress name that help me is Michelle. She made my day a whole lot better.

We stopped for a quick dinner. Service was awesome, the sweetest young girl waited on us and made sure everything was perfect. Food was good and cooked well. I have some food allergies that they did their best to work around. Very nice experience overall.

Stopped in late one night, saw two young workers and thought, well this will be no good. How wrong I was! The server named Harley was great and did a wonderful job of being attentive. The cook, who should be called a chef for her tremendous skills, was named Pickles. I watched as she cooked each order with such precision and care. As someone who grew up in the food business, I am always impressed when a chef takes their craft seriously. Some chefs are good but others can take food and make your soul sing with each bite! This is what she did! Easily, the best waffle house meal I have ever had. You have not truly had a waffle house meal until Pickles, I guess her nickname lol, cooks it!! Do yourself a favor and stop in when these two are working and it will be one of the best dining experiences you will ever have.

My husband and I ate here this morning and it was some of the best food we have eaten from a Waffle House. Charlie was our server. We told her that my husband had an onion allergy so please make sure his food didn’t have onions. She came to our table with our food and told us that in the process of making the food a single onion had fallen into his food. Even though the allergy comes from ingesting onions they offered to make a new one without complaint. I really appreciate the honesty especially with how busy they were at the time. Would highly recommend this location!
