That was some of the most delicious dark meat chicken I’ve had in a long time. Skin was well seasoned and crispy, and the meat so tender. I should have taken a photo but I devoured it too fast the homemade sauce is delicious too but it wasn’t a requirement to make this meal delicious. An update from recent reviews: they do accept card now, but with cash there’s a 4% discount. Also some updated menu options.

Super legit, family run BBQ joint just outside of town. Brisket and burnt ends were bursting with smoke flavor, if a touch on the dry side. Sides were all excellent, especially the honey baked beans. Reasonably prices. Pull up a picnic table and have a chat with some of the friendliest locals in Dunedin.

This is the “GoTo” place in Dunedin for BBQ and Smoked meats. This place has been here for a very long time. The locals know to get in line at 10:30 am to ensure you have the entire menu to choose from. They are only open Friday and Saturday from 11:00 am. They sell until all the products are sold. They provide picnic tables on the property if you would like to it right way. The barbeque is really good! The sides are great and they have really good sauces to choose from for your meal. They even sell the burnt ends that everybody likes. You can buy dinners or by the pound. It is a real treat to have some of their BBQ. It is a one of a kind experience and well worth the wait. If you don’t believe me go bye the place and check out the long lines every weekend. I have this as one of my favorite places. You will see Iwhy I wrote this review and hopefully, you will write a Google review also.

OMG ; what just happened?! Best BBQ in my life.
An unassuming little shack on the side of the road, which serves the best baked beans I’ve ever tasted, along with ribs which could stand toe to toe with many of the prize winning ribbers I’ve tried. (And best them!)
If you’re anywhere near Eli’s in Dunedin / Palm Harbour, you simply must swing by to give them a taste!

Eli’s is only open Friday and Saturday so you plan accordingly. Great staff, super friendly and the food is delicious. I had the brisket sandwich and my wife had the chicken sandwich. We shared the baked beans. This is a must lunch stop while in Dunedin!!!!

I really wanted to like this place after waiting awhile to try it. The woman at the front was delightful. Very friendly & engaging. The pulled pork and baked beans were OK. Nothing overly unique or special. The brisket was nearly inedible as it was extremely fatty. I couldn’t even finish it. There was a puddle of liquified fat at the bottom of the container. The picnic tables outside are a nice area to eat in. I may give it another try with some of the other menu items.

I have been eying this place for months now. Finally went about an hour before closing. Very cute, very old and small building. There are but a few tables outside under a big tree that gives you plenty of shade. There was a line but it went pretty fast. The paper menu helped me decide what I wanted while I was in line. The front lady that took my order was so nice, funny and chatty, loved her. People seemed very pleased with their foods. I chose a full rack of ribs. I had no idea how big these ribs were. We did not get any sides since we are not crazy about baked beans. The hot sauce was good but barely hot. I thought that the ribs were under seasoned and a little dry, it really needed lots of sauce. I really wanted to love it. I think the price was great for the quantity.

We tried Eli’s for the first time, today. I can’t believe it’s taken 10 years! Lovely staff, tender, moist, and delicious brisket. Jersey rates it 10/10!

A quaint, family owned BBQ shack located right on the Pinellas Trail in Dunedin. The staff is super friendly and the BBQ is very good. I love sitting at the picnic tables under the oak trees with the smell of the smoker in the background. They are only open Friday and Saturday. Cash only.
