Definitely 15+ min wait and I was first in line!
Ordered the grilled cheese burger combo and it was was it worth the wait? Absolutely. I didnt have to cook it or clean up the mess and the flavor was in dont know im still waiting. But they refunded our meal price and we did get our meal too.

4.3 stars, good not awesome. Burgers are high quality, but too much of a pre-formed patty for me. Malt was 3 stars… I think she added too much milk. Nice place though in a small town, with a drive through window and it’s connected to a subway which is handy for multiple choices.

If I could negative stars I most definitely would the subway inside is very polite with great workers. I have gone to TX Burger many times and never been treated this badly my husband ordered food to bring me for lunch and they completely left it out of the order he tells the lady very politely and she proceeds to be extremely rude to him after him waiting even though the food was definitely not fresh for the 3 meals and fish sandwich after she read back the order and confirmed we had 3 meals and a fish sandwich. When she brung out the order we are missing an entire meal and proceeds to tell him that he needs to pay for the 1 meal that is missing after already paying for the order or he can take what he has and leave. Definitely will not be returning to this TX burger.

Hard-working people doing a very good job. I’ve never had an unsatisfactory meal here. An average, standard, typical Texas Burger/Subway combo; tasty food made by nice folks working hard for their minimum wage.
Easy to find and get to right on the main drag through Rockdale. Getting in and out of the parking lot and side street can be a little exciting because of the volume of traffic.
Parking is adequate, gets a little tight when it’s busy but it’s not too often.
The crew does a good job keeping things clean and tidy.

Last visit was excellent, service, food, tea…so… we brought other people here, after stating how delicious everything was and were so disappointed, even after the waitress tried to fix everything. She did everything in her power to try to improve our burgers, to no avail & apologized numerous times, even when they ran out of tea. The seasoned fries and onion rings were either cooked hours ago or just overdone , making both taste like tough cardboard …. We may try the subway sandwiches because everyone who came in while we were here, ordered from them. So disappointing and embarrassing, not just for us and our friends, but for the waitresses.

I’m so glad I tried this place! The burgers are delicious! My group had custom orders and they were all done correctly. The food came out in a timely manner and the staff was very friendly! The seasoned fries were so good! I usually don’t eat my fries, but I finished all my fries here. There are booths and tables available for dine in. If you’re in town, give this place a try!

After I placed my order and was told my total. I sat in the drive thru for 10 minutes with only two cars ahead of me and no one inside the store. Once pull up to the window, I wanted another 5 minutes just for someone to come to the window and asked if I had been helped. After I told them that my order was already place. The lady just said “I don’t have a head set and it’s not in the system” then tries to take my order again. Not worth waiting another 20 minutes at a dead establishment with zero customers. I’m 6 months pregnant and traveling. What should have been a quick stop was just a waste of 20 minutes, sitting in a drive thru. Crazy thing is I had my order repeated back to me and was given a total.

Typically not one to leave bad reviews but this was my first time ever eating tx burger. And was super disappointed. Shakes tastes super plain and old. Food was cold. Super expensive for the size of everything and waited forever. Only good thing was the fountain drink and tea.
