All around a pretty good Starbucks location. Located near the university, this location is actually pretty quiet in the evenings. There’s a decent amount of seating, however, it consists of mostly hard chairs. They have about four softer lounge chairs for you to sit in.
They keep this location, pretty clean, and it’s a great place to come study.
Parking is plentiful out front in a shared parking lot with other storefronts.
Coffee is pretty good. Ideally, they could make the coffee a little hotter, but overall no big complaints.

I wanted to leave a review because everyday I go to Starbucks sometimes twice a day . The baristas are always professional, kind, happy, hard working and always know my order when I get up to the drive-thru. It’s always nice to feel welcomed especially from Jay, Nick, Courtney and most of the barista team. This by far is my favorite Starbucks team on State on Franklin. You all rock!! ♥️☕️

Cassidy and her team are excellent! They provide the best Starbucks experience. This particular store is always very clean (bathrooms included). They play the best music. The vibes and atmosphere are perfect. With so many Starbucks to choose from I always go to this one when we are in town. My daughter and I love the friendly service (Eustasia is a great barista), atmosphere and drinks. Manager Cassidy always has a smile on her face and I have overheard her encouraging and leading her team with the exact positive. attitude I would personally appreciate from a manager. Thanks guys!!

I ordered a mobile order. Came to this Starbucks and there were no other customers. My order was already ready, but I used the restroom first. The bathrooms were clean and the store was neat. When I picked up my order a barista asked why I was taking pictures. I explained for Google reviews and was Informed “they don’t like people taking pictures”. I have never had this happen in a Starbucks and will not be back at this one. Incredibly rude!

Starbucks, you’ve truly disappointed me. Refusing to provide something as basic and essential as a cup of water unless a customer spends money in your store is not just bad business—it’s inhumane. Water is not a luxury item. It is literally the most fundamental human necessity, and yet you’ve decided to put a price tag on access to it.
This policy reeks of greed. Starbucks is not a struggling mom-and-pop shop—this is a multibillion-dollar corporation charging five to seven dollars for fancy coffee drinks while denying people the dignity of a simple cup of water. What message does this send? That hydration is only for paying customers? That compassion and basic humanity can be sacrificed for the bottom line?
I’ve spent money here for years, but this policy makes it clear where Starbucks’ priorities lie: profits above people. It’s disheartening, it’s petty, and it’s shameful. If a brand this massive cannot afford the “loss” of a few cups of tap water, then maybe the company’s values are as watered-down as its ethics.
I will not support a company that treats water—the most essential element of life—as a commodity to be withheld unless customers pay up.

The people at this Starbucks are so so nice. I always get a “good morning” on my coffee which is so cute, and then one morning I had a spider fall on me while I was ordering and they gave me a free cake pop ❤️. They’re just always happy and so nice and I really appreciate it in the morning ❤️

I’ve been going to this location for years and have never had any complaints but lately things have gone downhill. This is the second time I’ve gotten a coffee that is basically half full. For over six dollars I expect it to be filled to the top. It’s supposed to be a latte but tastes like black coffee with cream and sugar. I won’t be back to this Starbucks again.

Chai latte with soy is on the lighter side. Its not as creamy as what I’m used to and prefer. The holiday bear is so cute. I don’t remember seeing it before. Last night I did see the Chinese new year ones on eBay sold in Asian countries. It $9.95. Cute bear for the Xmas tree. I stopped here looking for the Tennessee been there mugs. Decided to start collecting them when I was in Columbia SC 2 weeks ago. I was in Knoxville just this past May… I love TN and decides to make a trip here again. Anyway, this location doesn’t have the TN been there mug. My search continues…
