Food was absolutely horrible. We came for my mom’s birthday. The waitress was amazing but everyone’s food was cold after waiting over an hour. My rice was hard, the beans were cold. This is a little more expensive than your average tex mex place and I regret spending the money here! Wish i could get my money back more than anything. You couldn’t pay me to eat here again. I urge you not to come. This place has changed so much. It used to be delicious but the last 3 visits including this is my last. The ONLY thing that saved dinner for all 9 of us was the whipped cream on the pinata. None of us were happy with our dinner and I’m embarrassed for the suggestion. Never again.

UPDATE – i took all of the food back because it was terrible. This new queso terrible, chicken was cold! They’ve lost a customer! $60 down the drain. I don’t want any replacement , do better. Based on the reviews, I am not the first to complain.
Placed a to go order for nacho bar and they literally put a spoon full of meat in the container. This isn’t any enough to feed my family of 4 as advertised.

Server was lovely & food tasted fine, but I couldn’t locate the chicken in my quesadilla! I opened up two pieces & told her I ended up with veggie quesadillas. She went back & talked to someone in the kitchen who said it was in there. My friend & I were chuckling & opening them all up in search of chicken. The entire meal had the equivalent of one chopped up chicken nugget – wish I was kidding! $18 for the protein equivalent of a nugget. I’ve since read reviews & people complain about this type of thing & they haven’t changed, so they obviously don’t care. I wasn’t going to send it back just to end up with spit in my food. We just won’t be back. Simple as that. There are so many restaurants in the area that we can go to that care. The chips and salsa were good tho. I don’t need a manager to respond to contact them – you know this is happening, so just change the way you operate.

Came in for lunch with my husband sat afternoon. When walking in it was baey anyone there. We passed a sign to scan the app for free guacamole & show your server. Yay so we do so get to the table show the waiter, he takes us through to get the free guacamole. We order the drinks which was sour, tasted ild premade drink and just nasty. We order and finally got the free guacamole which wasny ripe and tasted funny. We waited for a good minute for our meal. The people behind us ordered and sat down way after us got their meals before us! We finally got our plates and it was no taste to my fajitas and shrimp nasty. My husband order birra tacos no flavor at all this place has really gone down and not worth $100 I spent.

We have gone to Uncle Julio’s on numerous occasions usually with family. It’s always consistently good not great. The location is convenient and the wait staff is generally very friendly and efficient. We did Taco Tuesday this week and I think in retrospect it would have been better just to order tacos unless I had a bigger appetite. My mother-in-law and my wife really enjoy their quesadillas and I like their fajita bowls as well as their platters. For a special occasions the chocolate pinata is fun especially if you have kids in the group

Not for me. Very tex mex, lack of flavor, presentation and atmosphere. Not a cheap place, portions are small and corn tortillas are not good at all !

If I were just reviewing the taste of the food then this would be a 4* or 5* star review. But unfortunately this location seems to think that charging $3 for a spoonful of guacamole is fair and acceptable. And yes, I measured and I MEANT a spoonful — the amount of guacamole did NOT fully fill a tablespoon! SEE PHOTO.
Being over charged for a spoon of guacamole runs the enjoyment of the whole meal.

Megan was absolutely the best server ever!! We were amazed at her ability to take care of so many guests at the same time!! She was friendly and funny, making our dinner so enjoyable . We asked a million questions and she answered them all with ease. She was fast and did not even write our orders down. She is truly a seasoned server/bartender. Can’t wait to go back.

I have always had nothing but great things to say about this place as I go every year for my birthday. I went yesterday to celebrate and had one of the worse service not the waitress fault but was told was driven by kitchen staff as they were short staff and someone walked out. We has one of our plates come out cold and mine came out late as most of my party was done with their food. We ordered chocolate pinata and not used to it not being lit with sparkly candles and inside had the least I have ever seen. I think I will be driving further to Lemmon location as went there 2 weeks ago and service was fabulous and chocolate pinata was on point. I hope they take this feedback and work on doing better.

Came here with my mom and her friends on a Tuesday afternoon. The restaurant wasn’t terribly busy and happy hour had just started. We were seated immediately (7 of us) to a table of waters, chips, and salsas. From then things became… off. Our waitress had an attitude from the time we sat down until the time we left. She rushed us through our order, was short with her responses, and wasn’t personable at all. She definitely didn’t show any respect for the elderly women she served.
I ordered the lunch chicken fajitas with corn tortillas and the happy hour swirl x2. The drink was amazing! No complaints there. I enjoyed the fajitas as they give you a large portion for lunch but it makes me wonder how much larger than dinner. I initially ordered guacamole but they were out and I had to wait for them to make more (which wasn’t an issue) it was just the attitude we received when we were told. I did eventually get the guacamole. I had enough food for leftovers along with chips and salsa to go.
Overall, I won’t return to this location because the service sucks but I will try other locations.
