This was my first visit since the place just opened. I ordered plate #6 — the burrito was labeled as beef, but it tasted more like birria. While the flavor wasn’t terrible, it was extremely greasy and soggy. The enchilada and lettuce were also drenched in grease. I also tried the chilaquiles, which were decent, but the egg was undercooked. It was supposed to be a fully cooked fried egg, but it definitely wasn’t. I spent $30 and honestly, it didn’t meet expectations, especially for a brand new location.

I meant to place an order with Rivas, but accidentally ordered here online. Got a 5 piece rolled tacos order as well as carne asada fries. The salsa bar had a food inspection sticker stating it was not functioning cold enough for use. So I asked the cashier for a lot of green salsa and she made me feel like it was inappropriate for me to ask for more after only handing me 3.
Anyhow, the rolled tacos were not crispy. The chicken inside was dry. Not sure how you accomplish dry inside and soggy outside of a fried item. The carne asada on the fries tasted old. None of the meat had any seasoning or flavor. I was left very disappointed.
Leaving this review to remind myself not to order here again. I used to go to the one on Durango and blue diamond and feel like the food and service is better. But really, Rivas is much better.

My normal location Is rainbow and windmill one of my favorite locations out of their chain and was very happy to see that they opened a new location closer to my residence. The customer service tonight was excellent.The food was very fresh and piping hot. From reading the previous reviews, I almost did not come to this location but I received very great service and very good food and I hope that they stay consistent.I recommend this location as of today

Only got a picture of the napkin, the food was gone too fast! Delicious. Sit down food options with fast food speed! We had a lot of questions, but the cashier was patient and helpful. P.S. they have a drive through.

I was really disappointed with the fish tacos I received — they were badly burnt and completely inedible. It’s hard to understand how something in that condition could be served to a customer. Fortunately, I was eating in and asked for a replacement, which they provided. But if this had been a takeout order, I wouldn’t have had the chance to fix the situation. I hope the restaurant pays more attention to quality control in the future.

I’ve been hesitant to come here because of the bad reviews since opening. Since I live close I decided to give it a shot today. I can’t say much about service as I ordered online. My food was ready in 3 minutes! It was empty when I walked in but it was a Monday at 4pm. It was also really hot inside on a cool day. Brand new building with no A/C. Double checked my order and it was correct. I got 1 Carne Asada California Burrito, added rice & beans, and 2 adobada tacos. The burrito was big and so were the tacos. I payed $24 after tax. Asked the lady a quick question and she was friendly. Ate the food at home and it was pretty good for what it is (slightly Americanized Mexican food). Maybe this location got better or I got lucky. I will be back but they really need to fix the A/C if I’m going to eat inside.

I really like the place. The food is good. It’s easy to order. The folks are nice. My favorite is the carnitas taco and the bean and cheese burrito. And the tacos on Taco Tuesday are pretty good too at $1.79 each (shredded chicken taco only). Oh, these days they also have a quesabirria taco plate for under 10 bucks (it’s on the whiteboard menu, not the permanent menu).

The food is good and in a good area. The workers are not very friendly, that’s one reason I don’t like going there. I wish they were friendly. Update…..Went to get a rolled tacos with rice and beans , going here because its close to home. My rice and beans were cold and little avocado on my rolled tacos covered with cheese to hide it. What a disappointment, going g to Robertos from now on. Don’t waste your money.

I asked for 3 Chicken tacos No lettuce and I repeated it 4 times. Once I was home and opened a taco that felt extremely light and to my surprise I had 3 just lettuce tacos. I have no clue what they’re smoking in this establishment. And the Enchiladas had possibly the worst sauce I’ve ever had the displeasure of tasting.
