We always go to the Orlando one and we love it so thought we’d stopped here for lunch on the way to Clearwater. As good as always but we especially liked the atmosphere here. Super clean and staff really nice. The big beef sandwich is delicious especially with the add on of the sweet and hot peppers. Also really enjoy the chili dogs. Only criticism I have is that we found the fries a bit too salty.

Stopped by Portillo’s in Brandon and it was a total hit for the whole family! I had the chili dog with some amazing onion rings and a large cup of hot cheese — absolute perfection. My girlfriend went with the charbroiled chicken sandwich and fries, my son had the Italian beef sandwich, and my daughter ordered chicken tenders, fries, and a chocolate cake shake (which is seriously to die for). My daughter’s boyfriend grabbed a burger and fries, and everyone left happy and full!
This place is big — plenty of room for families or large groups — and has such a fun, old-school vibe that makes it feel like you’re stepping back in time. Service was quick, food came out hot and fresh, and everything tasted great.
Overall, Portillo’s Brandon is just a fun spot with great food, friendly service, and something for everyone. We’ll definitely be back!

I’ve been wanting to eat at Portillo’s for a few years, but never had the opportunity. I liked the hotdogs, though next time I will not get them with the Chicago style toppings, to me, the toppings take away from the flavor of the hotdog.
The fries were good and the peppermint flavored milkshake was excellent. The large size is actually large. I also liked the larger sized straw that come with the milkshake, which meant the small pieces of peppermint did not get stuck in the straw.
I’ll go back to try the beef sandwiches and for a different style hotdog.

5 stars without hesitation. The food was fresh, hot, and exactly what you expect when you’re craving Portillo’s. The Italian beef was packed with flavor, the fries were on point, and everything came out quickly.
The staff was friendly and kept the line moving, even when it was busy. The place was clean, organized, and had a great atmosphere. Overall, a really enjoyable experience and definitely worth the visit.

Portillo’s on Brandon Blvd is top tier.
We had a slightly customized order (chicken sandwiches, no lettuce or tomato, light mayo, add cheese). Somehow the lettuce and tomato were still on there. No big deal — mistakes happen.
What matters is how a place handles it.
I let them know, and they immediately fixed it — no attitude, no hassle, just great service. And on top of that, they surprised us with cake. That’s the part that stood out. They didn’t just correct the sandwich — they went above and beyond to make it right.
There are plenty of places where you don’t notice a mistake until you’re home, then you’ve got to drive all the way back, waste gas and time, and they’ll barely make it right. This wasn’t that.
They handled it with class. That kind of service keeps people coming back.

Love Portillos, always get good service and the food is great! Their burgers are really good and their cake shakes are a favorite, ray at the drive through today was especially great, she had a really positive attitude and made our day a little better, hopefully she gets some wind or something so she doesn’t bake like a hot potato out there.

The food was SO good!… This place is large inside with plenty of seating. It’s busy with lots of customers but they get the lines moving fast. I came with a large group of family and everything everyone got looked and smelled so delicious. We are loyal customers of Portillos. Staff was friendly too.
