It’s just a typical L&L. It started in Hawaii and I’ve eaten and ones in Hawaii and the food taste the same and the same mediocre service. I will give them this: they were fast but the person waiting on us was quite rude. Very unHawiian of him. Nothing special about this place except it’s the only one in the area so if you want Hawaiian food and don’t mind service being on the rude side and the fact they use their dining room as a storage area (see pics below), then give it a try.

I ordered a loco moco with all rice as my side. I thought that was a simple instruction. I should have checked my order the second they handed me it because they gave me macaroni salad. I went back and asked them to remake it with all rice and they just handed me a free portion of rice like that’s what I was dissatisfied with. I just left then because I wasn’t about to waste any more of my time with these people. If they couldn’t do basic requests correctly the first two times, then there’s no point in trying a third. Last time I’m eating here and it’s a shame.

L&L just lost another customer, I ordered online through Uber Eats, And for my SALAD I ordered Macaroni and for my Side I selected All Rice since I didn’t want to get 2 scoops of Macaroni I selected all white rice and No Mac, so I received my ordered with no Macaroni Salad, I called to let them know that I was missing my Mac salad on both orders wich he did apologize and told me to go back, but I told him I didn’t live near so he said he would give me credit. 2 hours later he calls me back and argues that My order said All Rice no Mac so I explained to him when placing My order It gave me that option and I didn’t want to receive 2 scoops of Mac since I had already selected that on CHOOSE YOUR SALAD option, and for MY SIDE I wanted just white rice, well he insisted that my ordered had no MAC and didn’t care to hear me out but argue instead, Well He can keep he’s 2 scoops of Mac and lose a customer never again will I order food from there!!

I don’t generally order/eat a lot of Hawaiian BBQ, but was in the mood for something different and came across this restaurant. The person taking my order was seriously rude and impatient to the point in which I thought about cancelling my order.
I didn’t have much hope for the food after the brief but unpleasant interaction, but to my surprise, my food was delicious. I got the spicy beef combo that came with rice and Mac salad. The bees was super flavorful and I loved the creamy Mac salad. Also the price for the amount of food was really great.
So now I’m in a pickle, do I put up with rude service for delicious food or add it to my list of places not to give my hard earned money to?
Oh the dilemma!

Decent meal, bad service
I came here and was “welcomed” by rolling eyes from the employees and not even a single hello. The man who took my order was rude, he yelled at me to pay and rushed me and talked in a grumpy manner. What is the point of being a server if you cannot even be polite to your customers, who literally make your paycheck? Moreover, when the food is ready, the man standing in the cashier counter just shouted “HERE” and rolled my eyes at me again . I paid to eat not paid to being treated like an alien.
I have already seen bad reviews here and they seem to have lasted for a long time and the owner did reply and sorry but the customer service was still so unacceptably horrible when I visited.

I’ve never had such consistently bad customer service. The man at the register (and who answers the phone) is extremely rude and unprofessional. If you try to correct a mistake on your order, he makes a big deal out of it instead of just fixing it. He’s also hard of hearing, which would be fine if he didn’t respond with attitude when miscommunications happen. Definitely not worth the hassle there are plenty of other places with similar food and better service.

The service was good they were very friendly nice and humorous. The food was classic L&L very good, I’m very sad that they don’t have the pancit to anymore.
Prices are still the same still the same setup in the menu can’t complain really. Parking is free the doors a little bit strange to get to at first you have to go onto the side of the building even though you park in the front of the store which is fine but just heads up.
