This is a Filipino Deli inside a fish market inside at Southcenter Mall. Featuring a wide variety of Filipino dishes, the quality was overall good but not excellent and pricey to boot. I found the service slow as it took quite a while to get through the case selecting what I wanted with only three other people in front of me doing the same. As a fan of Filipino food myself, there is better to be had add more competitive pricing with faster service in the nearby area. Cafeteria style seating, nothing fancy.

The service felt rushed, and two employees in particular seemed disengaged and inattentive. They did not appear interested in listening to customers, which made the experience feel unwelcoming. Another staff member repeatedly asked us to repeat our order, yet still failed to provide what we requested. Overall, the process was chaotic, disorganized, and lacked hospitality. Additionally, some food labels were missing or mismatched, adding to the confusion.

The price point of $9.99 for a two-side, one-entrée dish was reasonable. The turon, chicken adobo, and pork adobo were flavorful and well-seasoned. The adobos leaning more on the sweeter side without being overly vinegary or salty. However, the mini eggs in the adobo were noticeably overcooked, suggesting they had been sitting in the dish too long. The lumpia and pancit were acceptable but not remarkable. Unfortunately, the food was served at room temperature, which diminished the overall quality—likely due to the slow-moving line.

GRILL CITY AT SOUTH CENTER MALL
I want exactly what’s on the Ad posted on top of the counter and what she hand me over was totally different from what I ordered. I calmly repeated myself and politely ask her to give me what I want. She argued and with a high pitch saying ” That’s what’s on the menu! You should’ve told me that you wanted a noodles!”
She was rude and pushed the plate harshly towards me and said ” it’s already plated!” I was embarrassed. Everyone was looking at me and I was speechless. My friend who was standing next to me suggested to take what she serve and just pay for it. I was forced to order a noodle separately, also I wasn’t given a portion or a side of pickle just like what their ad says.
I learned from the cashier that the servers name was LORNA the cashier was even afraid to fix my order. Photos are attached so you can clearly see the difference. I was also charged for a palabok.
There wasn’t a manager around, unfortunately. It’s a sad experience, I do not wish these to happen to anyone.

I had a great experience at Grill City in Tukwila! The food was fresh and delicious, but what truly made the visit exceptional was Linda. She was amazing—friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcomed. Her service alone is worth coming back for.

I got a #7 Milkfish with rice and a side of pork stew. I asked for a side of seasoned vinegar for dipping the fish in. Makes it yummier in my opinion.

Only 1 lady grabbing, cutting and boxing the food for people (+ 1 cashier, +2 skewer grilling guys) and tons of people in line. Super slow process made lines longer and longer. And it’s so hard to communicate with her. She was giving me the looks and yelling at me for asking questions.
Food is not cheap either. This is “asian market theme” food, not authentic asian market where everything is delicious and fast.

I bought my favorite puto bung bong sad to say this is the worse ethnic dessert food I’ve ever had ,I even bought two that’s how excited that turned out to disappointment I would pay money for my food and I expect quality this dessert. Didn’t include with crushed coconut ,it supposed to be soft but it’s like plastic. They should check their food before it goes out to the public. That’s at least I think that they’re doing if they want the customer to come back for their business. I hope the owner for this grill seafood city should have more quality control on their food that they sell. I need some explanation and I want some money back if they ever guaranteed their food that they sell to the public.
