Sadly, closed. I really wanted my children to eat here the way me and my parents grew up eating here. *Tears*
This was THE BEST place! So many wonderful family memories with such great food at great prices! Restaurants like this just don’t exist anymore- family owned with history and classic, easy atmosphere. The take-out counter was always busy, just like the dining room. Proof that they fed most of the East Bay. We miss the meatballs, the garlic bread, the generous bartenders, John….We miss Banchero’s!

The best Hayward staple for Italian. Our family has come here for over fifty years. Take out is wonderful as well. Yeah for the soup especially!!!
