When we eat inside this ihop, we are usually impressed by the food and service. However, the takeout process needs some major refining. Typically the food isn’t as good as it is in person, but today took the cake. The hostess was very unwelcoming, people were going up to her and she was just handing pagers and never told them how long the wait was. She never asked me what I needed and finally someone came up and said can I help you? I told her I was waiting on a to go order and she said she would let them know. But she did not. I waited 25 min for my order and finally someone brought it out and said no one told her it was ready. This was unacceptable. The lack of communication needs to be addressed for the to go orders. Our food was cold, inedible, and the French toast sticks had no powdered sugar and tasted strange. If you dine it, it’s a decent option but to go is a total rip off and a total waste of time.

My husband and I had been sitting for about 10 mins and no one had acknowledged us. Our server Chris recognized us from across the dining room and instantly came to see if we had been served yet. He took our order right away and provided excellent service as he always does. Will be coming back and asking for him specifically everytime. Thank you Chris

This IHOP was amazing! The staff was so great dealing with my situation. My son has Autism and had issue with the sounds of little kids making a little bit of noise and he wanted to leave. The waitress very kindly moved us to a quiet room where we were alone. It was perfect! Thank you so much Gabrielle for amazing service!

Robert, our server, was absolutely amazing. Attentive, courteous, and extremely polite and friendly. We could not have asked for a better server. He was outstanding and made our experience at IHOP even better. We highly recommend requesting him as your server should you get the opportunity to visit IHOP in Clermont.
