My wife and thoroughly enjoyed The Bakers Table. The service was outstanding and we thought sitting at the bar made the experience even better. I highly recommend the halibut and my wife thought the Gemelli was very good. All the food was delicious although we did not feel the porchetta was as good as the other tastings. That doesn’t mean it was bad, it just was not for us. The food is a 4.75 for me, the system doesn’t allow for that type of rating though.

All-in-all, it was a wonderful experience with great food and awesome service. We will definitely be back.

Definitely go if you get the chance.

This place is fantastic! From the food to the atmosphere to the service to the staff to the music to the bathrooms. As foodies, I can’t believe it took us so long to dine here (most likely because we live in West Chester and this place is in Newport). However, after the meal we had, we will be coming every month to taste Chef Dave’s changing menus and drink some of the unique wines that Ryan has curated. Or to have another lovely, herbed martini that Jake made so well.

Between the two of us, we had every item on the menu. Every single dish was perfectly seasoned, had great balance of flavors, and was presented beautifully. I could have eaten about 16 plates of the fall squash dish! And we’re not avid eaters of duck, but that dish was wonderful and will turn you into someone who may add duck to your repertoire of proteins to order. Also, we learned that fruit sorbet served with EVOO is heavenly. They served it as palate cleanser. For dessert, the pumpkin cheesecake with rosemary caramel was perhaps our favorite dessert that we have ever had! It had savory notes from the amount of salt, the pumpkin, and the rosemary that was really pleasing to the palate.

We cannot wait to return in December and all of 2026!

The Baker’s Table is one of the best culinary experiences in Cincinnati, with seasonal tasting menus, locally sourced ingredients and thoughtfully curated wine pairings.

The entire team makes you feel cared for from the moment you step in the door.

We tried every dish on the tasting menu and each of them was delicious. The standouts for me are the Vichyssoise (bursting with flavor), the Blackhawk beef (so tender and perfectly cooked), and the Apple tart.

This restaurant is not for everyone. If your idea of fine dining is microwaving pizza rolls, you may want to sit this one out. But if you’re a foodie like me—someone who gets excited about chef‑inspired combinations you didn’t even know existed—then buckle up.

Their seasonal tasting menus are basically edible plot twists. One bite you’re thinking, ‘Wow, I didn’t know carrots could do that,’ and the next you’re wondering if your tastebuds just signed up for a yoga retreat. From start to finish, your brain will be flooded with ecstatic messages, most of them saying, ‘Thank you for not taking me to Olive Garden again.’ There is even a special course that I was sworn to secrecy about. If you are ready for an incredible cullenary experience then you must go here.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect rehearsal dinner than the one we had at The Baker’s Table! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was nothing short of enchanting. The attention to detail in every corner of the restaurant added to the intimate, warm atmosphere that made the evening so special.

The food was truly exceptional! Each dish was a masterpiece, bursting with fresh flavors and thoughtful combinations. Our guests were raving about every course, and I honestly don’t think there was a bite left on anyone’s plate!

What made the night even more memorable was the impeccable service. The team at The Baker’s Table went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. From assisting with our unique requests to making sure everyone was taken care of without skipping a beat, we were truly impressed. They made us feel like family, ensuring that our rehearsal dinner was seamless and stress-free.

We were able to fully relax and enjoy the evening because we knew we were in the best hands possible. We couldn’t be more grateful to The Baker’s Table for making our rehearsal dinner such a magical, unforgettable night.

My wife and I recently moved to Northern Kentucky and were absolutely thrilled to discover The Baker’s Table in Newport, Kentucky! From the moment we walked in, Rachel, Jake, and the entire staff made us feel incredibly welcome and right at home. It’s fantastic to find such a wonderful farm-to-table restaurant in our new area.

We opted for the Chef’s Tasting Menu with the Non-Alcoholic Drink pairing, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Each dish was a unique work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. One of the mocktails, featuring Carrot and Chrysanthemum, was so refreshing and delicious we joked about wanting a whole pitcher to enjoy on our deck at home!

While every course was outstanding, the lamb ragu was a definite highlight. The flavors and textures were phenomenal, and the inclusion of what they called “lamb bacon” was truly one of the most delicious things I’ve tasted in a long time!

What we also appreciated was that despite the high quality of the dining experience, the atmosphere was relaxed and unpretentious. Even the background music had songs that made us smile and added an easy-going vibe. The intimate setting made us feel connected rather than lost in a large, bustling space. The staff was attentive and genuinely responsive to our needs.

It’s clear that The Baker’s Table is a business that prioritizes sustainable practices and truly cares about the quality of their ingredients and the people they serve. We loved hearing the stories behind the beverages and the inspiration for each dish, and the fact that the menu changes monthly based on seasonal availability is something we greatly appreciate.

Our first experience at The Baker’s Table was truly memorable, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. Highly, highly recommended!

We just loved this place. We had a lovely dinner and the food was exceptional. You get a set of courses (changes monthly) and choose from two selections in each course. I found that the food in all of the courses showed care and attention to taste, balance, preparation and display. They also offer a wine pairing for the entire meal and I am so glad we chose it. The sommelier showed the same care for the complementary wines as the dishes showed in taste and preparation.
I’ve eaten a lot of meals in a lot of high-end restaurants and this was one of the best meals my wife and I have had. Exceptional with highest recommendations.

The birthday celebration continued last evening with a dinner at The Baker’s Table. The restaurant is a 2026 James Beard Best Chef: Southeast semi-finalist and I can now understand why. I really love the farm to table tasting menu concept (changes monthly). We loved the juxtaposition of the dishes: Deep and earthy vs. bright and crisp.

For those looking for a nice place to celebrate a special occasion or a perhaps a date night, this place is highly recommended.
