Reviews
A special thank you to Mr. Louis, who personally accompanied us on the wine cellar tour — it was a great pleasure.
It was also a delight to meet the kitchen team.
Special thanks as well to our service manager, Mr. Luccas, for his exceptional hospitality and attention to detail.
Everything was absolutely perfect.
Just a quick word of warning – the doors don’t open until just before 8pm so if you have an 8pm booking like we did don’t turn up 20mins early (so you’re not late) thinking you could sit at the bar or a local bar – they aren’t open and there is very little else in the area to grab an aperitif.
Without going into details: great staff, fantastic dining in a lovely atmosphere, we got way more than we expected.
Thank you.
The only problem is that we have to come back 😉
I want to make a special note about how accommodating the entire staff was regarding my very severe tree nut allergy. (Especially after experiencing a near death experience dining at another Michelin location in Italy two weeks prior.)
We wrote about my allergy on the reservation. They sent a reservation confirmation email AND an email regarding my allergy.
Great practice. This made me feel acknowledged and safe.
Upon arrival, I didn’t have to tell a single person about my allergy. The server told me he knew about my allergy and so did the kitchen. I could have cried from joy. This is a very small gesture but for people with severe allergies is incredibly kind and appreciated.
They accomdated all dishes, explained to me which dishes were made without nuts so my partner could still try the dishes as is, and provided alternative dessert options.
The last little cherry on top was that they brought me fruit candies as an alternative to the chocolate box at the end of the meal.
Thank you
Also wanted to note that the wine list is HUGE and the pairing suggestions were truly excellent. Coravin options for international wines.
Everything here is precise and thoughtful — from the moment you arrive and your car is taken care of, to the final farewell with photos and a menu to keep. The seasonal menu and signature creations are truly exceptional, each plate crafted with care and artistry.
The service is attentive without ever intruding, as if the staff anticipates your needs before you voice them.
And the chef is nothing less than magnificent, turning every visit into a memory worth savoring.
Thank you for an unforgettable experience.
The SNOOTY Som ruined the evening for us as he was extremely arrogant and unbending on our choice of wine and the way it was to be served. The wine needed to be decanted to open up to drink. However, he poured the wine directly from the magnum bottle. It was not good and some of us objected to the quality of wine. The Som insisted it was just fine. He then left not to be seen again. We had to pour the rest of the wine ourselves- no issues if you are dining in a regular restaurant but not when you are paying $300 for a bottle of wine. The other issue was that we had about 12 different waiters that came and went with no consistency. Did I say the bread was cold and the butter had no salt?!
This was the second time my wife and I dined at Paul Bocuse in the last 5 years. The quality of service is forgotten. I don’t think Paul would have been happy to see what is going on here!!!
