I live in Joliet close to Manhattan and this is a local hidden gem, stopped in for the first time today and the inside is very nice, clean and offers plenty of comfortable seats and couches to work or have a good coffee. I tried their brown sugar shaken espresso and it was great. Definitely will be coming back.

This place is absolutely beautiful inside! They have a good selection to choose from, but not so much that it’s overwhelming. My shaken espresso was delicious and the workers were SO kind. Hidden gem with lots of events too! Will be back! The owner (I assume) thanked us for coming and was very sweet. Support local!

I live roughly 3 minutes away from Peaceful Grounds but never got around to visiting until this year. The women who greeted me and the woman who took my order were both very kind. The creme brulee oolong tea was phenomenal as well as the blueberry muffins.

A very calm and nice coffee shop, perfect to study and/or read. The coffee and espresso taste pretty strong which I really enjoy. Their signature coffees/lattes are really good. The food is okay, nothing special. The baked goods however, those are food; just ask them to warm it up.

Best chai latte I’ve ever had! Great drinks, food, atmosphere, and service. Today, I got distracted and left my purse there just before they were closing. The young man who was closing contacted me and was kind enough to wait for me to come back to get it. I appreciated that so much but it was not surprising as everyone is always friendly and kind.
