The food is AMAZING! We arrived hungry and got a recommendation from Hope (at Sharon’s Motel) to check out JJ’s Smokehauz. Jeff fixed us up with a combo plate & we gobbled it down. Delicious pulled pork, ribs & cinnamon rub baby back ribs. Cranberry cornbread, raspberry coleslaw, pasta & potato salad, his famous bean salad…. Just pure joy for the tastebuds!!

Just stopped here and had the pulled pork sandwich, got to talk with the owner who is very nice and he told me about his homemade cornbread so I got a loaf, it was still hot from the oven needless to say it was delicious.

We weren’t sure about going to a restaurant attached to a gas station but it had good reviews so we thought we would try it. Glad we did the pulled pork and tri tip sandwiches were very tasty! Sophia was super friendly, she even offered to hold and feed our son so we could eat. I would definitely recommend it!

If you want a quality meal that is made with love this is a MUST STOP! We have been across the country traveling and this was one of if not our favorite place to eat! The owner is down to earth and passionate about his food!! You will not be disappointed!

We stopped by on vacation, on our way to Idaho, via US 93. Just happened in when JJ had some Prime rib cooked up. Great portion size, superb flavor and ample Sides and drinks.
BTW, We were able to bless a stranded motorist from Canada with and order of ribs, when her credit card wanted verification. JJ was gonna comp the meal, but we were so impressed with the persona of this BBQ Joint, that we picked up her tab. A truly refreshing example of charity, American Style.
