The young woman working at 3PM on 1/04/26 needs to be let go. My daughter has profound autism, is nonverbal and loves Coke. There are few things that make her smile and this always does. Melty Way is the only restaurant in the mall that has an official Coke cup. It doesn’t matter where we eat, we always get our drinks here because it has a Coke label. The young man was the only one really working and cooking for customers. I waited at the register and she saw me from the back room, sighed heavily the came out, looked down and didn’t look at me. I thought she was doing something so waited for her to greet. After 10 seconds she looked at me and gave me a dumb look like I was stupid and she was waiting on my order. She still didn’t speak a word. She was very irritated. I asked if there were any Coke cups in the back because lately it’s been generic clear cups. She didn’t understand my question and kept giving me crusty looks. I simply said “never mind, a large Diet Coke please”. She put the drink in front of me without looking or speaking and walked away. I could have left without paying. She didn’t care. She was already gone before I used my credit card. Poor boy doing all the work while this young woman was put out and angry that she had to work today. She shouldn’t be in the service industry.

We ordered the chicken avocado and the fajita melt and they were both good. The fajita melt is spicy because of the jalapeño but still tasted good. The fries were crispy and you have to ask for a sauce if you want any (they only have ketchup). They serve the food on a plate that you see at barbecue parties. I would like to try their other menus in the future. The bread was crispy too on the outside. For my meal at least, they put a lot of cheese and other ingredients too. I can’t decide which I liked better because both menus were satisfying to me. The customer service was just meh. I think the way they set up their area is similar to Subway because you can see what ingredients they have and they make the sandwich right in front of you.

Tasty, greasy and fattening artery clogging food. I felt guilty eating the food but I couldn’t stop because it was yummy. The patty melt was 4/5, bacon cheese taters 5/5
Tomato basil 3/5 a little too sweet.
They take a while to cook but it was very fresh. Don’t expect impeccable service but it was fair.

Wanted a quick meal at the mall. My kid picked the Melty Way. I opted for the pulled pork sandwich. I was hesitant because pork can be too dry or too fatty. But the port was flavorful, just the right amount of BBQ, cheese was “drippy enough” and a nice crunch from the onion rings. My son’s grilled cheese was “good. Nice drip and crispy bread.” Per my teenager. He also had the cheese tots which he said was good and the tots were crispy and the cheese didn’t make them too soggy. All in all, I would go back. Which is saying something for mall food.

We can’t get enough! We’ve been here five times!! We can’t get enough of the tomato basil soup. The banana foster is insanely tasty. The fajita melt is my favorite!

Definitely would recommend,if you like a lot of onions while on your lunch break
And I didn’t even know that they had an onion cheese melt, and my order only came to $25
Overall disappointed, where do I start, It’s in the food court at the mall.
I ordered the BBQ Brisket, It took about 15 – 20 mins for me to get my order, but I was okay because the bag was hot.
I then rush home, and open my sandwich to see an onion overloaded cheese melt,
The people were nice, food was awful, and took forever
Now I challenge you to find the brisket in these pictures

The food was very fresh. I got the brisket melt and was impressed. The fries and fry sauce were also 10/10. The worker did great. I also like that they use buzzers instead of having a second line to pick up with workers shouting order numbers.

Had a great experience here! Ordered a four cheese sandwich and my friend got a bbq brisket melt and they were both delicious!! Satisfied my craving for greasy food. The employee who got me my food told me to wait for a moment to give me napkins that I didn’t even ask for, it was so sweet! Good spot at Southtown Mall!

I settled on the Short Rib Melt for my first ever Melty Way Sandwich. The sandwich was fairly sweet from the sauce. But it was a good lunch. The bread was nice and crispy and not soggy. The cheese wasn’t super melty. Fries were good too. The wait time was appropriate as well. I realized after I was never asked but I also didn’t add that I really wanted it to go. So it came out on a normal paper plate. I did end up having to ask for a bag to take the other half home for later.
