Absolutely incredible service, food, and vibes. We walked in on a whim for Valentine’s dinner and they were slammed but did suchhhh a great job- with tons of pick up orders too!! Super impressive. Loooove this place and the staff. The sushi is literally so fresh and incredible every single time- can’t recommend Ichi Ban enough! 🙂

Ichiban never disappoints! The Queen Roll is my absolute favorite—it’s loaded with shrimp tempura, mango, spicy crab, and wrapped in pink soy paper. Every bite has the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and a little kick. The presentation is always beautiful, and it tastes just as amazing as it looks.
I also tried the crab wontons and crispy veggie spring rolls—both were perfectly fried, golden, and delicious. The wontons are creamy and flavorful, and the spring rolls have that satisfying crunch with fresh veggie filling.
The food is always consistent, fresh, and flavorful, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Ichiban is the spot. Highly recommend!

I have been coming to Ichiban for the past 6 years. I have not had a better experience at a restaurant! The service is very good, staff is highly attentive, caring, and knowledgeable towards their customers and the food they serve. Whether I do takeout, or dine in I always feel welcomed in and properly taken care of. The food is amazing, some of the best sushi I have had, and the best in Buffalo. I highly recommend eating here, the atmosphere is beautiful, and the employees are friendly.

Absolutely loved my experience at Ichiban! The food was incredibly delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff was exceptionally kind, attentive, and welcoming. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and service you receive.

This is our second time coming here. We had miso soup, grilled squid and the Love Boat for two. The presentation is beautiful and not to mention everything is so fresh and delicious. The ladies who served us are so nice and attentive. I have Celiacs and they do a great job making sure there is no gluten in my food. This will be our go to restaurant.

My kids and I enjoyed some delicious sushi. The presentation looked good as well. The staff there was extremely nice, especially our server. She made sure our drinks were full, and very nice. I will definitely head back there soon.

I dont know why people like this place. My girlfriend and I ordered from this place and got chicken teriyaki, rolls and shrimp tempura. The chicken teriyaki was the worst I have ever had, light on sauce and seasonings and it looked just sad. The rolls were meh but we got a small amount for 14 dollars. The container it came in was smaller than my hand. ( See picture). But the icing on the cake was how stingy they were with sauces that came on the side, like soy sauce, they were maybe 30-40 percent full, in those tiny containers. For the price they charge absolutely embarrassing.
Save your money and stay away from here, because this stingy place is 100 percent watered down of what Japanese food should be.

This is my favorite place to get sushi! I’ve come here several times and it’s always fantastic. My favorites are the tiger roll, celtic roll, and the volcano roll. The sushi is always beautifully presented, fresh, and tastes amazing. I’ve also enjoyed the gyoza, miso soup, and age tofu as appetizers. Service is always fast and friendly. I’ll definitely be back soon!

The sushi is always incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious!Whether I’m dining in or taking out, everything is timely and consistent. The hibachi is just as impressive, it’s always flavorful and cooked to perfection.
Also the servers are always kind, attentive, and make you feel genuinely welcome.
Ichiban sets the bar high, and they never disappoint. If you’re looking for top-quality sushi and hibachi with good service i highly recommend!
