Beautiful restaurant with an excellent atmosphere and top-notch service, though definitely on the expensive side.

However, I’m from Spain, and if you’re looking for authentic tapas or Spanish food, this isn’t really the place. The patatas bravas feel more like a fusion version — very far from traditional. The croquetas are bite-sized like tater tots; the flavor is good, but they’re way too crispy. Traditionally, croquetas are bigger and much creamier inside. The empanadas were a total disappointment.

Overall, it’s a lovely spot for ambiance and service, but not ideal if authenticity is what you’re after.

An unforgettable dining experience at Miró Spanish Grille!

Every dish we tried was absolutely outstanding — from the tender Pulpo Al Gallego to the flavorful Camarones Al Pil Pil and the melt-in-your-mouth Pulpo Al Olivo, each plate was bursting with authentic Spanish flavor and beautifully presented. The Zarzuela de Mariscos was a seafood lover’s dream — rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced — while the Pasta Marbella and Surf and Turf were both indulgent and perfectly cooked.

Beyond the incredible food, what truly made the evening special was our server, Jesus. He went above and beyond to make sure our experience was seamless, offering spot-on recommendations and the kind of attentive, genuine service that makes you feel like a valued guest.

From tapas to dessert, everything was outstanding and as close as you can be to Spanish cuisine without having to travel overseas! Worth the 20-minutes trip from downtown Charlotte. Save room for dessert. Parking on premises. Ample seating on a nice ambiance. Reservation advised. Highly recommended

We really enjoyed our dinner. The tapas we selected were all delicious. Would like to get back to try one of their paella options.

Met friends for dinner on a Saturday, reservations were made for when they opened. Our server Roberto was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu as well as drinks. I had the sangria which was delicious, paella for 3 of us and we each ordered a tapas. Empanadas, spicy potatoes and scallops. Everything was served hot and everything was delicious. Desserts look yummy , we all took a slice home of tres leches cake.

Awesome little gem in the south Charlotte Ballantyne area. Great atmosphere. Super nice and knowledgeable staff. We made reservations and were seated right away. The menu had plenty of Spanish dish selections. The croquetas were with 5 easily shareable pieces. Our entree order was the large seafood paella. My one and only dagger of a negative is the paellas came out within 10 minutes of putting the order in! We were a party of 4 and we ordered 2 Paellas. We all looked at each other like …huh ‍♂️ … Usually takes way more time for such dish to be made. The calamari was especially rubbery as were other pieces; and we all were glad to not have added the scallops. Otherwise, great place to have nearby if you are feeling Spanish. For us, if we return there’s always an opportunity to try other dishes.

I’ve always heard such great things about this restaurant so we finally went and tried it. We booked a reservation and we were sat on time. Our service wasn’t great and we felt forgotten about many times. One of the things we asked for we actually never got. We were told we had to try the Tres Leches and we did, it was one of the best Tres Leches Cakes we’ve tried. I ordered a coffee with dessert and the coffee came 15 minutes after the dessert. It was little things that made our experience just “ok”. Food was good and the restaurant was clean. We tried many tapas and the Carne Paella. The spicy margarita was very good.

Absolutely Decadent!

Exceptional Dining Experience with
Outstanding Paella

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Miro, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked in, the warm ambiance and welcoming staff set the stage for an exceptional meal.

The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the Paella. Perfectly cooked with a balance of flavors, the saffron-infused rice was rich and aromatic, and the seafood was fresh and cooked to perfection. Every bite was a delightful blend of textures and spices, transporting me straight to Spain with its authenticity.

Beyond the incredible food, the service was impeccable. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that my dining experience was seamless and enjoyable. The presentation of the dishes was also top-notch, making the meal as visually appealing as it was delicious.

If you’re looking for an extraordinary dining experience and the best Paella in town, Miro is the place to go. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates great food and excellent service!

Good place to get Tapas & Drinks. We tried the Patatas Bravas, Gambas Al Ajillo, Grilled Octopus & the Corvina along with couple of mocktails. Drinks were good and so were the Patatas Bravas & Gambas. Didn’t like the Octopus as it was overcooked and the Corvina was average too.
