I ordered the Philadelphia and Rainbow Roll. They were both good, fish was fresh. They could have made the roll with a thinner layer of rice and more filling (fish, cream cheese, avocado). Still good though. Chicken teriyaki was also great, served with a side of white rice salad and soup. Service was good, server came to check on us a few times. Not busy we were there at 6:45PM.

This is our sushi spot in Sedona. We shared some sushi rolls this time: tempura, spicy salmon and unagi. For appetizers we shared the kaki fry (fried oysters) he didn’t like it very much, lol. I also ordered the hamachi kama. The food and service were top notch as usual. Thank you!

This quaint sushi restaurant is located on Sedona’s main commercial strip. We stopped in for a quick, light meal and enjoyed both the food and the excellent service.

Prices are somewhat high, though they offer reasonably priced lunch specials (Monday through Friday only).

Overall, a pleasant dining experience.

This place was one of the best things that happened to our family today. The food was excellent, the service was stellar, and the atmosphere was excellent. It was Christmas Day, and this restaurant was the only place that was open and could seat us within ten minutes. We must have gone to near ten restaurants, and they all had 1.5+ hour wait times.

When we got to the restaurant, they gave us a seat within ten minutes. We were okay with a seat outside, so we got placed there, but after some time, the person who was our waiter nicely asked if we wanted to sit inside because a table had opened up.

The food was excellent. We must have never eaten as much as we did at that restaurant for dinner. The sushi was delicious, and the Udon was impeccable. The sashimi was one of the best we have had; it melted in our mouths.

This restaurant was amazing, and we hope to come here again.

A pleasant surprise! Dined here as a couple, and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food. We didn’t expect to eat sushi/japanese food in Sedona, but positive reviews persuaded us.
We had miso soup, various nigiri, agedashi tofu, spicy tuna handroll, and soft shell crab roll. The miso was a touch too salty for us, but still enjoyed it. The agedashi was delicious—perfect on a chilly night. We enjoyed all the nigiri!
The place itself is simple in design and cozy. We dined inside, but saw outside seating where they provided quilts. Service was fast and friendly.
We would definitely recommend if you crave sushi & would return if we’re in the area.

We were welcomed by an extremely friendly staff. The sushi was not bad but for the high pricing I was hoping for something a bit higher quality.

Being a transplant from Chicago, one thing I’ve found difficult here is the lack of authentic Middle Eastern & Asian food. Hiro’s makes up for that- so much so that when my best friend came to visit, this was the 1st place I took her.

You know the food is good when the conversation stops and before you know it, The food is all gone. In the 18 years I’ve been dining with my bestie, I’ve never seen her eat sushi so fast. The ingredients were so fresh and you can tell Cham is a master at his craft. Dessert was yummy and word on the street is if you like creme bruele, you will be very happy here.

The service was outstanding and our waiter was friendly, informative and funny. I really appreciate Hiro’s warm atmosphere and overall outstanding customer service. You just feel GOOD when you’re there.

I love supporting local businesses and Hiro’s is 1 million percent a no brainer for me. I invite you to stop in the next time you’re in Sedona- you will be glad you did.

After a day of snowboarding in Flagstaff, my friends and I made our way to Sedona and checked out Hiro Sushi & Japanese Kitchen—and it did not disappoint! We sampled a wide variety of sushi rolls, nigiri, and sashimi. Overall, the food was pretty good! While it wasn’t the best sushi I’ve ever had, it was far from the worst—and definitely satisfying after a long day on the slopes.

Yes, it’s a bit on the pricey side, but that’s to be expected in Sedona. What really stood out, though, was the service—absolutely amazing. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. The cherry on top? The stunning views from their patio. It’s the perfect spot to relax and unwind.

Would I come back? Absolutely. Good food, great service, and unbeatable scenery make Hiro a solid choice for sushi in Sedona.

There is more parking in the rear!

Quick service. Clean facilities. Good food. Clean sushi! Everything you want in a sushi place! Staff were very nice. We only needed a quick bite and took advantage of the lunch special. There is minimal parking in the front so just go straight to the back parking lot.
