Not gonna lie, from the outside this place is very unassuming but when you walk through the doors, it’s completely different. The atmosphere and the decor are cozy and give character. The owners/staff were so friendly and welcoming. We had the totopos and some ‘spicy’ salsa offered with chilis (which I thought would be too spicy but it was perfect! I ate 2 servings!) I had the carnitas tacos and house limonade and my mom had the burrito. Burrito was HUGE portion and my carnitas were so tasty. I’m from the U.S. and eat Mexican food at least once a week (it’s an addiction haha) and these were some of the best carnitas I’ve had. Did not expect that in Vienna! Just a very short walk from the Hbf, You won’t regret giving this place a try if you’re in the mood for Mexican food!

My friend who once lived nearby recommended this. We dropped by around 18:00 after our visit to nearby Foto Arsenal to have dinner. It was still somewhat empty by then. Come 18:45, people started pouring in and the restaurant became full so I recommend getting a reservation.
We got the bowls for dinner. I am not Mexican so I cannot vouch for authenticity but I would say that
– bowls have enough portion
– the food is tasty! Dipping sauces were great (though if you are not a fan of spicy food, don’t have these).
– staff gave us great service
– resto has this retro kind of vibe which i like.
Overall, I would recommend coming here.

This restaurant was literally on the same street as my hotel. I kept passing by it a couple of times, and eventually I decided to stop in for dinner. I have to say, it was very good.
My absolute favorite part was the beans, the little side of beans for snackin. They were perfect to snack on while waiting for the food. And food wise, the carnitas were amazing. I’m from Mexico City, so trust me when I say they were very good.
I was a bit disappointed with the al pastor, because it didn’t really taste like real pastor to me, so I personally wouldn’t order that again. But the carnitas tacos and the carnitas burrito? Wow. Both were incredible. I highly, highly recommend ordering those. They were honestly the best items.
The service was 10/10 super friendly, super nice, and very attentive. The place itself is very cool and interesting.
One thing to know: make a reservation. If you don’t, they’ll send you all the way to the back, like they did with us. I think that’s the room for people without reservations. It’s a tiny room, and from there you really can’t see the decorations or the atmosphere of the rest of the restaurant. So if you want good pictures and a better experience of the place, definitely book ahead.
Other than that, if you go, you must order the carnitas burrito or the carnitas tacos. They’re the best, I swear, really delicious.

Really nice place close to Belvedere. My friend and I had the pork carnitas and beef tacos and both were delicious. The service was also really friendly and the interior is really welcoming and cosy, with many plants and Mexican vibes. Will definitely be back 🙂
