My partner heard about Two Moms Diner on FB and wanted to try it out. He knows we both are serious Foodies so after a little research, we decided to try it out today. Upon entering, we had no idea what to expect being POC (people of color). Well, we were greeted by staff who was moving quickly about but we were more surprised to be greeted by a gentleman sitting at the end of the bar/counter. With a welcoming spirit and smile, he told us what to expect (“there’ll be a little wait to get your food but it’ll be delicious”). I knew then that I was in for a treat. We were led to a table by Sondra, who somehow felt like a long lost friend. There were so many great choices on the menu that we couldn’t decide; Sondra so graciously assisted us to make the best choices for this visit. My partner ordered the Papa’s breakfast and I ordered the Nana’s breakfast, both with scrambled eggs with cheese, onions and green peppers. He had hot tea w/lemon and I had hot coffee. I really, the food was delicious but what REALLY sold us on the restaurant was the welcoming atmosphere of not only staff but the other patrons. There was an older couple sitting in the back of the restaurant who was leaving and the gentleman stopped by out table simply to chat. There was a couple sitting beside us with two adorably, hilarious children. Everyone engaged with us as if they had been knowing us for a while. This meal didn’t feel like we were coming to an establishment to eat, we felt like we were coming HOME!

Absolutely delicious and wonderful all around!! Amazing service! A delightful and clean little diner with fair pricing! You get a perfect amount of food that fills you up just right. Everything was cooked just right and we were all so happy with our meals!
Can’t wait to come back!
And to add on, I think it’s wonderful to give a 12 year old waitressing experience! I would’ve loved that when I was her age! She did absolutely wonderful, refilled our drinks perfectly and came and checked on us! Seeing a child wanting to work, socialize with others and hang out with her mom was so amazing to see! Girls like her give me hope for this younger generation ❤️.
Give this place a try if you’re in the area or passing through! It’s worth the stop!

It’s weird to see someone leave a low review who still eats there every two weeks. It can’t be that bad, can it?! NO, it’s not! It’s incredible!!!! Don’t listen to Karens, go visit this gem of a place with the most AMAZING, homecooked food and the sweetest staff. It is truly “food art”. When we order takeout, my husband and I don’t even make it to our seats! We stand at our island eating it like savages!! I highly recommend the stuffed waffles (strawberry cheesecake are my fav. also the pumpkin they offer during fall are insanely good!), the eggs benny, home fries are the best I have ever had! Also, if you enjoy a good mimosa, their apple mimosas are delicious and served with fruit make it look extra pretty and fancy. PLEASE do yourself a favor and check this place out!! It’s very rare to find diners like these with food that tastes so incredibly good. Their lunch options are great too!

Cute place with good portions. Unique food, and some good souther style biscuits and gravy. The breakfast taco desert was amazing. My breakfast smash burger was delicious. Would go again 10 x over and over. I highly recommend.

Not much of a wait, staff wasn’t that friendly, husband ordered a coffee and waitress brought back an orange juice. She never stated her name when she came to our table to take our order, waited over 50 minutes to receive our food. Someone who came in after us got their food before us. Waitresses never checked in on us and just walked by our table. Food was okay. Probably won’t be back. But don’t worry, they were quick to grab the check though…

This place was great! For the space they are working with, they really maximize how many can sit and eat. Food was delicious, really felt home-cooked. I ordered the Spicy Mamas burrito and I loved the injection of hot sauce I got with my plate. Very fun.

I really wanted to comment about their gluten free options. They didn’t have much knowledge about GF, cross contamination, etc. I told them about my allergy. When we asked about the French fries, they didn’t understand that even though fries are usually GF, if they’re cooked with non GF stuff, they get contaminated.
I had the steak and cheese, no bread and a fruit cup. I still got sick the next day.
4 stars because I think they have potential, but beware if you are celiac. Don’t dine.

Coffee tasted like watered down tea. We all ordered papas plate and only got half our meal, comes with pancakes or French toast with toast and a side of beans. Never got our pancakes and never got our side of beans. Waitresses asked half way through our meal if we wanted our beans, said the menu said comes with toast or pancakes but that’s not what it said, and never received our pancakes and also got charged for our pancakes.

Cute diner on the inside, we got the Benny burger and Eggs Benedict. Both were cooked to perfection, the waitress was fast and kind, and it only took 15min. Even coming in with only 30min for them to be open, the food came out with great quality, not rushed. Definitely worth checking out if your looking for a hidden gem
