The best chips in all of Chicagoland!! The salsa and guacamole are also amazing! Ordered the enchiladas and steak tacos. YUM!!!! I can’t say enough good things about this place. The service was top notch!!!!

My friend and I came in ten minutes before closing after a show at the bar across the street. They would’ve been within their rights to turn us away, but instead, not only did they take and quickly make our orders, but they served some of the best tacos I’ve had in a while. The chicken was really good, well seasoned and roasted, and the pork was unlike any I’d had before — as tender and flavorful as al pastor but instead roast pork, simply amazing. They also gave us a huge y bag of delicious and fresh chips and a mix of three salsas! Will be recommending!

We ordered the tacos, mole, steak, and pork, and the guacamole and horchatas. Everything was delicious and the flavors were just right. Very unique guisado options for the tacos and the fact that you can see the tortillas being made is pretty cool too. Will return as long as the food stays consistent in flavor and quality.

Great burger, friendly staff, any Blue Island “old-timer” will catch El Cortez vibes in here. However it’s been re-done very nicely, well-stocked bar it looks, overall I’m glad I treated myself here. I will surely be back with others.
