Honestly…..my mind and taste buds were blown away. Stayed in Carmen for 11 days, by the end of the stay I was craving a burger. Being from Texas I had a little hesitation but holy mama, this is probably the best burger I’ve ever had in my life. There was so much flavor, perfect size, and even the side salad was spot on. Eliver was our waiter and he was super friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend. You’ll get great service, atmosphere, food and drinks. I will be back 100%. Thanks!

I struggled with reviewing Mu Burgerhouse. I really wanted to love this restaurant. The vibe here is the kind that makes you want to come back for more. Candles, outdoor terrace, beautiful glass windows, open air seating, live music. Everything felt right, and I thought this place is going to be great. Unfortunately I was wrong.

1. We were moved mid meal because they had seated us where a band was supposed to go. So they moved us 1 table over. My daughters head was 5 feet from a drum set.
2. We asked for water 4 times. 4. The 4th time, we asked for our ticket because it never came.
3. They forgot one of our burgers. Had to rush it. Surprise, it was rare.
4. They made a cocktail incorrectly. Your gin and tonic contains rosemary. Mine did not.
5. The water glasses are small shooter glasses. Maybe 2-3oz of water.
6. The service was horrible. I don’t like to say that but the waiter knew it and didn’t even give me the receipt to sign for a tip. Didn’t even let me… he knew it was bad.
7. Pretty sure their bread is store bought sesame sourdough buns. Nothing new there.
I want this restaurant to get better. I think the concept and menu are sound but sadly our entire dinner was nothing close to memorable.

Beautiful restaurant. I wish I took more pictures of the restaurant itself. The drinks were great! The squid appetizer was amazing, chewy but had a crunch. The curry dipping sauce amongst the dipping sauces for the fries and burgers was the best but they were all amazing! The servers were very friendly and accommodating to both Spanish and non Spanish speakers. We left stuffed! But everything was super flavorful! Would definitely go back! The veggie burger was great and even non vegetarians in the group ate it and enjoyed it!

This place has a secret sauce to making the best burgers at American Gastro pub style food.
I can’t remember the item menu names of what I ordered, but I will promise you one thing everything was super good! Oh yeah the pork belly fries amazing!! Whatever I come back to visit Mexico I will make sure to stop by this place, and the music is good if you want upbeat/up-tempo house music! Which I love.

Great hidden burger place in Playa del Carmen. Service was excellent and the food delicious. The music, candles and dim lights gave it a nice relax ambiance. Come here if you like great meat! Recommend!
