I would call this a hole in the wall, was hesitant to eat here at first but so glad we did. The staff were friendly. We’ve been driving around to different restaurants and wish we found this place the first day. I’m not so big on sweet potatoes but the sweet potato shrimp tempura reminded me of when my grandma used to make it, it was delicious. The portion size was good for what we paid for. Simple menu, the banh cuon was better than what you find in Houston.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Phuoc Loc Tho. Simple menu with variety of noodles, Hainan chicken and banh cuon. Good food, good service and good pricing. The bonus is free nuoc mat or tra da.

We found this place by an accident while walking and searching for a nice place to have lunch in Little Saigon. What was a gem that hidden in a strip mall with many restaurants surrounded it. It seemed like this place was just recently opened at this area. We were greeted very warmly when we walked in. Since it was our first time here, a very sweet and nice lady gave us a round of recommendation from the menu .A very dish she highly suggested was Banh Cuon Dac biet Thu Dung as the name of the Restaurant. We also ordered a bow of Mi Quang, Banh It Ram and my regular Vietnamese coffee. The food were outstanding and delicious, even the Banh It ram was crunchy yummy and hot. We were very happy with the choices of foods. The prices were very decent and cheap. The place was well organized and cleaned. The services and servers were friendly and helpful. Would come back again to try out the other dishes.

Small hole-in-the-wall place that serves some delicious, unusual noodles and rice dishes that you don’t see anywhere else.

The hainan chicken was mostly bones little meat, dirty and plastic strands found in the meat. The pork blood was not fresh. The bean sprouts were not clean and had dirt.

Very dirty, Small portions. My stomach did not feel good after.

I’m sad to say this place has closed their business. At least their physical presence. They do offer ordering over the phone that you can go pick up at another location. But I at least wanted to share my experience. It’s in the same Plaza as A Dong Market and Seafood Cove across from the Asian Garden Mall/Phuoc Loc Tho. I used to come here all the time for my mom when she asked me to purchase banh uoc/cuon, the kind of thing that you can find in Vietnam or at restaurants like Tay Ho. My mom usually ordered plain rice noodles so that she can make her own combinations that we would all eat. Such as more veggies or other Deli slices (cha lua). It was very affordable and they had a wide variety of ready to eat dishes as well. Never felt heavy and always left not feeling gross. Kind of like rice noodle salad dishes with some sort of protein. They also have other rice noodle variations with dried shrimp or ground pork with Woodear or mushrooms. Everything was delicious. You know they’re good when even my mom could eat their nuoc mam with the noodles. Wish they reopened somewhere else in case the rent was high or something. I’m pretty sure it was just the location and the rent because there wasn’t that much foot traffic.

I am from Canada and found this restaurant by accident. We were supposed to have Bun Bo Hue next door but my mom saw pictures of the menu at this restaurant and we decided to try this place out. Wow! The Banh Cuon was delicious! My parents loved their dish also! The owners are also very friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant. I will definitely return when I am back in Little Saigon. 5 stars.

Love this place for their FRESH and quality ingredients not to mention the authentically great taste. It a small, clean shop and well managed by a very sweet couple. We love their bánh cuốn, bánh bẻo, bún riêu and look forward to trying more on the menu.
